For those that want to try and say Burnley are a more fierce rival. They won't return the favour as they have their own derby with Blackburn.

I see you have signed Michael Tonge, not a bad signing. Shame as I think our midfield would have walked the floor with Chaplow, Carter or that Lithuianian Steven Gerrard. Still should do mind... especially with the likes of Charlie Adam who is getting interest from Wigan and Bolton for 5 million.

What an optimist........

But tbh I see one or t'other of Burnley, Blackburn and we can even throw Bolton into the mix for the drop.

Or maybe it's because we've started to overtake you.😉

Yes, like one of those modified mid 90's chav cars. yeah you overtake us for a moment but soon as you get up to 4th gear your car starts falling to pieces, we end up zooming past when our turbo fuel injection kicks in, whereas you lot end up getting squashed by an articulate lorry.

Lashers for me will always be the enemy.

The ones saying Burnley are probably 30 or under.

Rovers are just like the scruffy family off the same estate as ourselves that won the lotto, hard to swallow, they didn't deserve it but: " bollocks to 'em, I hope that bloody money chokes 'em and any road they'll blow it all and end up back round our way in the end"

Wigan and Bolton just replaced the lashers when the lashers were busy terrorising Torquay and Cheltenham.

5 million!! 😀
got a story for you re adam, the reason he took so long to sign for you was a breakdown in wage talks relating to a release clause, adam's agent insisted that they had a release clause of £1million which oyston flatly refused because of the hoolahan/gorks situation agreeing they could have one at £2million,Kenny moyes said fine but his wages must reflect that and instead of the £17,000 per month your offering the wage for a player at that price is £35,000 per month and started touting him around,it took oyston close to a month to negotiate a £1.25 release clause with a 20% standard sell on with wages of £22,000 per month.
One team has shown a definate interest in adam and that team is Newcastle.

Quite right, Desmond. Glad to see you're a traditionalist.

BTW. This thread is littered with people proclaiming allegiance to 'PPS'. I take it this is an organisation of spotty little chavs who frequent the forecourts of Spar shops intimidating little old ladies returning from bingo?

PNE fans who want to avoid the derby seem to forget that our traditional rivals are Bolton and they still are. In my opinion second to PNE but a lot of the older generation hold Bolton as the main rivals.

Two can play at that game..

Even tho Im old enough to know better can i enquire as to why wanky wanderers are such a big rival to thee oh lasher?

There is a 20th anniversary PPS badge that's been knocking around for a couple of years, I think you are getting mixed up with your very own mucklings.

Can't see us selling out 🙁

I know that it has been stated a few times, but why would people rush to pay £24 to sit in an open golf stand when there is every chance that it will be wet and windy and the game is on telly ??

I say well done to the " loyals " who are going , but you can understand why a lot wont go.........

£24 gets you a lot of ale in the pub and a taxi home !!!

Erm, Toots, don't tar us all with the same brush. At 25 yrs young I despise anything to do with the Tangerine feckers!

I dislike Burnley immensley and it was always a nice, warm feeling when we beat them in the absence of our real rivals, but the Lashers will always be my number 1 hate.

And I like the Rovers analogy!
