Yeah, you miss out on a few beers before/after the game, but that's the only down-side.

I asked the ticket office about this and got a very vague answer. Basically, they said 'maybe'. They want to but it's not actually been formally agreed yet. Said they probably wouldn't know for sure until Friday, with the last chance to buy tickets in any way will be 6pm on Friday night.

I realise this doesn't answer your question, just passing on what they told me.

Basically, it sounds to me like they don't know if we're going to sell out our initial allocation.
If we do, they'll probably give us another 500 or so and pay on the day won't be a problem. If we don't sell out, and just have a handful of tickets left then they probably won't release them for pay on the day.

Seems strange that we haven't managed to sell 500.
 
Sub 500 would be extremely poor, especially considering we took 800 to Rochdale on a wet Tuesday night for a first-round Cup game.
