Legally, at the moment they can not remove the rights of founder member ambassadors.

There are only around 400 of them who take advantage of that scheme on the rare times it is used.

Most of which would qualify on points anyway, it is a bit of a myth that there are loads of fans only buying tickets for those games, who don't go to any other matches

The club and the FAN agreed that the wider loyalty scheme needed amending so that the points don't start afresh every year and also away ganes get more points.

Personally I think that is a fair compromise.
I'm one of the 400 and still travel to a few but usually have to wait till can buy another.
Good prices again so me and Mrs Gerona wil be renewing.
Love the planned invest statement.

Not to be negative, and call my a cynic but could someone give me the odds on the takeover breaking down shortly after the early bird deadline closes.

I'm still in denial that we may actually be able to go into a transfer window and act competitively.

With or without new owners, this is one of the things the club have consistently got right.

It’s great value for money and we will get to see 23 teams fighting for the new Top 8 as well as North End.

I’d say if it’s currently in the EFL checks phase it’s fairly low. There is only two things which could scupper any deal, they would be;

something suspicious about Zedans businesses which to me is unlikely as from what’s in the public domain he seems a legit businessman but that’s from what we can see not what the EFL can check so you never know.

Or the current owners pull the deal or demand more which is probably more likely and not unlike them to fuck up something, but I bet the odds on that are still pretty low. I doubt they’d scupper the closest chance they have ever had to sell the club.

Docherty signed, John Kelly from Tranmere, Buckley and Booth from Man City, and Barry Dunn from Sunderland. All the signings were within a few days, October 1981.
Davis Keillor-Dunn’s dad.

Kelly turned out all right but the others weren’t exactly value for money. Dunn lasted about a month.

At Morecambe the cheapest seat is £312 for a season ticket and standing is £247. That's National League North level!

They were cheaper for about a week at £280 and £222. But still a ridiculous price for the level their at.

Fair play to the club for our prices even with an increase.

You are being a negative cynic 😜

The FAN discussed season tickets prior to the takeover talk had gained traction.

I am pleased that, despite some delay ,whether due to the takeover, performances, or both, the club has been able to keep prices at the level previously discussed, regardless of any potential ownership changes.

I think it is clear many fans may hold off until nearer the deadline but I genuinely believe there is no reason to be cynical about it.

This is one area that the club and current ownership have got right in recent years whilst the timing of the sales period has matched that of the past five years, give or take.

The new ownership keeping the same model and rewarding the hard work that has been done in this area was a no brainer.

Exciting times ahead 🙏

As fans, we deserve to dream, a new era is dawning.

Pricing spot on again.

Under the current regime it might’ve been a tough call, but now there’s every reason to be hopeful. 🇸🇦🤍💙

Why should the rights of those founder member Ambassadors be removed legally or otherwise.
The club requested support by the purchase of season tickets at a time they needed it and they bought their season tickets upfront to help the club with the incentive of some benefits, cannot recall exactly what all these were.
The founder member Ambassador scheme was extended on a number of occasions to these supporters, again for renewing their season tickets upfront.
Whilst perhaps many for whatever reason no longer follow North End home and away, and do not attend as many away games, there is a good chance that many have in previous seasons watched North End all over the Country.
They have since the Club introduced the Ambassador scheme backed the club and bought their season tickets religiously no matter how the team has been performing.
Why therefore should their founder member Ambassadors status be removed if they continue to meet the original criteria set out by the club.🤔

The ambassador scheme needs a rejig. I missed one season (possibly Grayson's first - but still went on to most games on a pay to view format) and have had continuous season tickets since, but still get shafted. How long is this scheme going to go on for?

Will renew and pray to the gods above Zedan' takes us over. Can't complain about the prices at all.
I agree, i/we missed a season & a half (had a half once due to circumstances) since its inception,

I’m not sure whether it should be a badge of honour or I need certifying because I’m one of the 400 - a number I’m surprised is so low.

Presumably away tickets (after us super fans 😉) will be season ticket holders first in tiers depending on how many loyalty points they have followed by non season ticket holders - when we start our march to the top division and demand outstrips supply at some games.
