They’ll put loads of effort in today because it’s Heckingbottom’s old stomping ground and he won’t want to be stink the place out like we do everywhere else

Starting Small on the right in place of Valentin is probably the only change from Wednesday I would want us to make today unless Whiteman is fit in which case he could return in place of Thompson - but if Whiteman is available then a reversion to the sterile Whiteman-Thompson duo in central midfield really would be a dismal prospect. Otherwise well this time last season Brady actually played well as a creative central midfielder and I suppose we could try him in that role in place of the willing but if we are honest not particularly outstanding Potts but would there be much point given that Brady will surely be released at the end of the season. Let's see if we can at least get some points from today and next week-end to finish the season on a high after which... well who knows.

I thought small in his appearance against Birmingham looked much brighter on the right than he does on the left. Yeah defensively he might be a bit suspect but on the right he as the option to cut in as well as beat his man and put a cross in. Put a few decent crosses, just no one could head it in.

Andy on the left and small on the right should be the definite wing back options.

Especially when pol is stinking the place out atm

Thompson deserves to keep his place. Caught not showing Osman the line but he was the lone defender ( good defenders come in twos) the rest of his game was more than serviceable . He stays. Potts out
