So Who Now ?

So Who Now ?

Why would Steve Bruce or Billy Davies take a job at a club with sub 10k gates, no money and languishing in mid table in League 1? We had this when Ferguson was sacked and people reckoned Davies was coming and he didn't do. I'd love it to happen but it won't.

I suspect that we already have the management team in place, I've no problem with giving Grezza a chance.

If not, Sean O'Driscoll for me.

Ive got to agree with this..
We always get carried away whenever we are looking for a new manager BUT we need to get realistic.

We have got no money to spend....

It will be David Unsworth until the end of the season. And rightly so.

The era of big name , high salary managers, and backing them in the transfer market has to end.

It is back to the Moyes model for me.

Unsworth has shown enough to be given a crack. His brief must be to work with what he has got. We will try to retain players, but we must not do any silly loans or purchases.

John Coleman at Accy. Heard it here first! I like Unsworth and Grezza though. Up the Whites!

I'd give Grezza and Unsworth a few games to prove themselves and if there is an improvement in performances give them a chance to prove themselves further.

We've no money and won't be spending big in January so give these guys a chance

For the first time in my life I feel almost indifferent about the next managerial appointment. Normally I get swept along in the speculation but this time, for whatever reason, I feel dispassionate about it. The only man who'd really make me feel excited about the club again would be Billy Davies and the chances of him returning are practically zero. It will almost certainly be an in-house appointment so if it's Grezza and Unsworth then good luck to them. If they can begin by playing everyone in their proper positions we might stand half a chance.
