Boro for initial season long loan + the option of buying for £3.5 mill in Jan. Personal terms to be agreed, things to be sorted out tomorrow.

Option? So if he's not to their likeing then they can give him back to us and we would end up missing out on a few months worth of St.Ledger?

this does seem a very strange arrangement for such a valuable assett - what if he gets a career threating injury during the loan?
try befoe you buy - I'm not having it, not even from PNE

I would love it, just love it if Boro pulled out of the move in January just as the Nobbers promotion dreams for another season were in tatters!🙂
No promotion because the defensive linchpin has been missing for 4 months and no money to pay the huge debt off. Football can be a cruel game...😀

If it is true it will be a huge loan fee probably more than half the agreed transfer fee up front and then the remainder of the agreed fee in Jan. That way they would be mad to send him back. That is how it usually works I think

Is all bolokoffs money a gift?

Have you seen the books?

Does Oyston own the ground and not the club?

Just asking as I've heard a few lashers ask the same questions.

To be fair to Irvo, 3.5 million is a lot of money for someone who couldn't even make Blackpool's team.

Sell him I say.

He could turn out to be another crap flash-in-the-pan, like Macken and Nugent, and they ripped City and Pompey off for a cool 10 million in those deals!😉

I won't be furious.

We've always sold at the right time, and £3.5m+ is a lot of money for us. I think SSL is a good player, but he's looked below par this season.

I'm torn. I'd love him to stay, but on the other hand...
