But then you have clearly forgotten to take into account other people.

I`m not having a go here..nor is this reply to you part of the current squabble.

But at the end of the day, a Moderator has a green badge. They post in a forum others can`t see. They have allies in high places. Access to personal details and to deleted posts.

You are, in fact, in a position of power, and refuse to acknowledge your unfair advantage when things get heated..or when you support a mate in a forum disagreement that might lead to an infraction.

I strongly suggest you read what I just posted until it has really sunk in. You`re a good enough person at heart to comprehend things from the viewpoint of another.

Then tell me again how you insist that being a moderator will not affect how you post. And how being a moderator has not made you a more assertive and argumentative poster.

Some good points amongst that.

I personally have no problem with appointed senior moderators per se. I think that the admin do a good job and deserve to be afforded the courtesy of allowing them to select who are their main eyes and ears.

I do not believe it fundamentally contravenes democracy as there are representatives from pretty much every angle amongst the seniors.

Our problem at the moment seems to stem from two moderators who actually contribute a lot of positives, and are online regularly clearing up small issues, acting outside of the rules. As such there are not many of us elected ones left and there is unnecessary pressure on the seniors to decide what to do.

At the end of the day no one here is on a power trip, everyone is looking after the forum out of the goodness of their hearts. I do not want to be critical because issues like last nights Gentry Day thread need two or three days to be dealt with (but had spiralled into this within two hours)

You actually make the odd valid point, but the problem is that you don't know the half of it Ron and are simply going off what you've heard and hearsay which pretty much invalidates all that say.

Given Nobber can no longer stand as Mod, sorry I mean is stepping down, and a number of others are on the ropes, maybe it's time you finally acknowledged I'm the Voice of PNE Online and came round to my way of thinking on things.

Telling me that I am a bully when I have had 22 terms of abuse angled at me on this one thread alone from Mossy! You dare to sit there and write that you hope the forum can move on when you posted earlier today that it is 'job done' plus 'other posters have been asking you how you are going to get rid of the mods'. You're a lying twisting little shit.

To put things into perspective dickhead, I have been at St Catherine's tonight at a service for recently deceased people. I was there for my dad who died in my arms several weeks ago after watching him waste away through cancer. He taught me to always stand up to real bully's, meet them head on was the term he used, and he taught me to be honest. Everything I have written on here is honest and I will always respond to provocation. Now you and any of your stupid sidekicks can continue to write that I am a bully, a fucking liar, a bigot or anything you want but look in the fucking mirror and ask whether youre innocent or whether your provocation is an issue.

Actually don't fucking bother, you and Mossy carry on. In the grand scheme of my life you're fucking worthless.

I rest my case.

For me, after Nobber steps down and you do or don't win your battle against the other Mods you have a problem with on this forum you will be onto the next ones.

Your posting style rubs people the wrong way and its a shame because you're good at debating, so for me its not long until you piss off the next set of moderators that take over from the ones you have already bereft.

Like I said I don't condone their actions but I can fully imagine you rubbed them the wrong way as you have with others on this forum.

If you stick to the football I'm sure this issue will die down, be the bigger man just debate the football and actually value and acknowledge other posters opinions.

The Voice of PNE Online doesnt do you any favours with the residents and the gate keepers but I'm sure you know that and helps you to wind up the established with the end game being anti-establishment.

I am nobody and no one, but it seems to me that if 90% of the people posting on this thread were banned for 12 months then 90% of the forums problems would disappear overnight.
 
Well I wake up to Nobber claiming he's not standing to be a Mod again (no shit Sherlock), he's taken me off ignore (like I was ever on) and he's playing the victim card YET again.

Yes I may well get another infraction for my comments aimed at the coward yesterday, but I feel it's been worth it as the board finally gets to see him for what he is.

I honestly believe Nobber has some sort of denial going on, he really doesn't think his disgusting sly cowardly comments aimed at a poster he's harassed for many years is wrong. He see's himself as this self imposed shining Knight of the forum, whilst at the same time bullying and forcing other posters to quit the forum. He's become worse since he donned the green badge, using his position on the board to have the last word on closed threads and constantly spamming threads that he doesn't agree with.

Yes I'm no angel, and yes maybe I shouldn't have called Nobber a racist on the forum, but I say it as I see it and that's how I see him. Now I got an infraction for that which I accepted after being told Nobber was to put me and WIBG on ignore and that would be the end of it.

Well it wasn't and Nobbers true colors came flooding back with yesterdays cowardly attack.

Now lets hope the right decision is attained and we can move on as a forum.

No offence Mossy but you attacked him first outright with the starting of this thread.

And if history is anything to go back (my experience with you), you follow and harass people as well so even though Nobber may or may not have done the things your claiming your just as bad as him, pot calling the kettle black springs to mind.
