On a serious point it is always going to take time for people to read threads and comment in the moderators section so we can never expect instant action.

That said it is my opinion that the off topic stuff (including WIBG post criticising PSG) could have been formed into its' own thread much earlier and therefore done much less damage to the serious Gentry Day thread.

If someone wants to start a "are there people in PSG who like the sound of their own voices?" type thread then I think that is perfectly valid. Just as I would say all "Grayson out" threads are valid. Neither agree with my own viewpoint, but...

What happened on the Gentry Day thread now haunts the forum through this thread.

Anyway, I think it is good this disucssion is happening and that the four key players have been identified and are/will be rightly dealt with.

Just to say, and I don't want to dwell on this as it's been done, but I'm not sure how that first post about the PSG can be deemed as needed moving to off topic? Are the PSG, who I know nothing about, above criticizing on here?

The two who admitted infractions for their part:

WIBG (issued a while ago, please search his history)
MOSSYPNE (issued a few days ago, please search his history)

The other two will have to reveal themselves as for obvious reasons I can not discuss what is in the moderators only section. Unlike the allegations against two other moderators I am not about to post anything on here that could not be discovered from a simple post search of the open forum.

I appreciate that I will get slated for that, but I am not going to join in the rule breaking.

Personal feeling.

They are definitely not above criticising, I just do not think the Gentry Day thread is the right place to do it. On there it was always likely to bring the sort of negative reaction it got from raefil, but it equally could have been any other poster who holds the Gentry Day dear.

Personal opinion as I say.

The thing is, everyone has a different level before certain buttons become pushed. That's the eternal problem as I see it.

Only once, in the early days, have I flown off the handle at you on here - and I apologised the following day, more annoyed at myself for biting.

Gentle wind ups are fun, it's when people start getting personal and dark with each other that it goes beyond any decency.

Possibly the only way around this is if certain people re-register under a new alias, lose their post counts and keep their previous views to themselves thus avoiding any visual aggro on here.

It's a shame that things have decended to this low level...

I've already said if someone uses foul and abusive language during a debate, in the right way (if that's at all possible?), then I will take it on the chin. Blokes argue and disagree and expletives are thrown around in the pub or at the match so I can accept that some people will use them on here and I don't really mind it.

It's the posts I've highlighted and the one line posts of abuse that come my way that I object to and this is also where the current set of Mods have let themselves down by allowing a poster to be subject to a torrent of abuse and justifying it just because they get wound up by him.

It's sickening and pathetic.

I seriously think that you will find that most either just go along with WIBG (as they have know him for decades) or just let it pass over their heads, why would any decent person with the slightest level of sense let himself be wound up by someone calling himself the "voice".

You have changed your name (always a sign of weakness) and been found out re the Everton lad, you are a nomark trying too hard and failing terribly, take a deep breath and think again.

I'm confused, can you or can you not reveal what is reported, said and discusses in the Mod Forum?

I only ask as 3 Mods have posted information, about myself, from this forum that's all.

I know you may find this hard to believe but I do like to support the Mods so just want to make sure that you're all singing from the same hymn sheet so to speak.

It's all about everyone's different levels then before the button is pushed I'd say.

Myself, I can handle everyone on here (I think!). Only 1 person has wound me up enough to take a short break and ironically, it was a mate of mine both on and off here, Shaky. The daft git. 😀... he obviously knew my buttons but I forgave him 😀. What's the point in harbouring grudges because of a bloody forum?

We remained mates right up to the very end despite disagreeing on a couple of things on here.

Not really sure if this resonates with anyone right now...

It winds me up when he uses it to belittle and patronise my opinion, it seems like a weapon he has decided to equip himself with just to piss people off.

I have not been found out regarding the Everton lad because there was nothing to find out. I would like to know where the solid gold evidence is that I have never seen him play, how do you know Billy that I don't know him personally?

Like I said I changed my name because I wanted to and that was 3 years ago, you are bringing it up now as a pathetic attempt to arm yourself with ammunition against me.

Please don't reply with the "I don't care about your Username" reply because I have given you a/the explanation to why it changed and it doesn't agree with your god complex opinions.

We are not allowed to post information from that forum.

What the sanction for so doing is I am not sure.

However the only reason I can reveal you and Mossy have infractions for the long running issues with Nobber and latterly raefil is that you have both posted on here to question them at various stages in the last months. So that is public knowledge.

Ron you offered this place a recommendation re the Everton lad as you had watched him a few times, well he has hardly ever played even a few times as well you know......................

1465 does this ring a bell, it was a pretty stupid name as is bergunday, and getting wound up by wibg and his voice thing shows you up as being shall we say a bit immature!!!!! maybe this playground is a bit tough for you.

Immature, ok Billy like say yourself who resorts to jibes about my past Username and current Username to protect your god like ego.

What I have just explained which is what you do is by all definitions "Playground Tactics".

Why do you keep moving onto the next jibe after I shut you up on the others?
