In your world you probably "know" the queen and yoga, steven gerrard and terry wogan, and for this we salute you. I like you Ron as you do help pass time that drags when I am bored, I like fantasists, deluded immature name changing cut and paste gimps too, so a big thanks wee man.
 
It seems to me like some of the problems stem from certain posters not knowing how to deal with a WUM. I find it strange when people get genuinely pissed off with someone who is simply on a wind up. Either joke along with them or ignore them, it's not difficult.

A forum isn't a place to dish out abuse, it's a place to discuss, debate, have a laugh and, for me personally, to procrastinate.

IMHO some people just need to calm down and stop taking everything so seriously. Maybe I don't know about the history between certain people and that might make my viewpoint less credible but that's just the way I see it from the time I've spent on here.

Ah so you're belittling the fact that I might know Tyias Browning now, good tactic.

Onto the next form of pathetic attack? Is it the wee man insult, so you know how tall am I now Billy, I wish I was as knowledgeable as you but that probably goes along with being a narcissistic wound up old bastard so I will pass.

I don't have a problem with WUMs. A good WUM can be incredibly funny.

Unfortunately if a WUM really goes after someone, when they know what the consequences will be for their victim, then I think that crosses the line.

When the 'wind up' is no longer funny, the behaviour is probably best described as playground.

If a WUM 'goes after someone' then I guess that's the same as personal abuse, in which case I agree, there's no need. I've not seen any cases of that happening though, so I can't really comment on the matter.

Yes being a constant WUM is very childish but at the end of the day they thrive off the responses they get. If people stopped biting then that would be the end of it.

Is 'life on here' that anonymous though?

I've had several people who I didn't know come up to me and ask if I'm WIBG, as well as people I've never met before posting personal details and pictures of me on here and also commenting that they know where I sit at Deepdale.

Therefore, and even if you wanted to, I think it's very difficult to remain anonymous on here.

To be honest though I think that the quoted post here was tongue in cheek rather than an admission of a mission.

Anyway I think (as a poster, not a moderator) that all 4 (WIBG, Mossy, Nobber, raefil) have proved themselves to have contributed actively over the escalation of this dispute and so in that sense I do not think WIBG can take all the credit for the Job Done 😉

You are speaking perfect sense, Healy, but such is human nature - someone will always respond, especially when the WUM/troll knows exactly which buttons to press or uses passive-aggression to make everybody feel sorry for it.

If you can solve that problem, you will make the internet a much better place. 🙂

I've never denied I wanted changes to the Mod team, but this only came about after they continually failed to show consistency in their decisions and began to allow personal vendettas against me to dictate their behaviour and actions.

I attempted to resolve the issues I had privately with them but this fell on deaf ears, so I changed my approach and it seems I've had a lot more success. Granted, those in question have been a great help to my cause so I'd hate to take all the credit for it and do offer them my thanks. Although I doubt that they will show me the same gratitude.
