More of the same, predictable !
Ridsfail out !
Ridsfail out !
Still no statement then?
Sulking because they've been sussed. Even their Public Relations Consultants can't find a way to spin this in a positive light.
It’s been decided that silence is the best policy and hope this summer’s recruitment goes well so it can be back to statement as usual next season.Still no statement then?
Do they even know the season's finished on the Isle of Mann?
I'd rather we didn't have a statement. It'd only be full of the usual shit anyway. Why do we need a statement? Can’t remember it ever being a thing before the last couple of years
Less talk, more action.
That says a lot as we’re apparently badly run yet a side with millions in failure payments goes down"Luton, who got relegated with all their parachute payments....."

Be careful what you wish for. We barely get any communication or engagement from the owners as it is - I’m sure they’d gladly do even less.I'd rather we didn't have a statement. It'd only be full of the usual shit anyway.

Yes, because going from non league to the premier league in 10 years is the epitome of being poorly ran.
Especially for a club with an average home attendance of 5k less than us. I only bring it up because people love to use it as an excuse for us as to why we can't succeed.

It hasn't finished until Risdale runs out of hospitality invites, no doubt he was at Wembley yesterday quaffing fine champagnes.Still no statement then?

Communication is only meaningful if it outlines a plan or statement of intent that is carried out conscientiously.Be careful what you wish for. We barely get any communication or engagement from the owners as it is - I’m sure they’d gladly do even less.
Vague, wishy washy jargon just doesn’t cut it especially when patronising in nature.

Ridsdale did his original series of Club Updates 5 years ago, lecturing the fanbase on the lack of youth development, crapness of the club merch, and cancellation of Ingol, culminating in his first Christmas Message to the Empire in December 2020.Why do we need a statement? Can’t remember it ever being a thing before the last couple of years
The first proper State of the Nation Club Statement also came from Ridsdale in May 2021, after he'd appointed himself Head of Recruitment and shortly before he was made a Director and oversaw the celebrated Summer of Jamie Thomas, Wickham and Izzy.
TH passed away later that year, and this time Craig made a Statement to remind people he existed, since he'd been chairman for over 2 years and still no one knew who the fuck he was.
Ridsdale was back on Statement duty for his second Christmas Message in 2021, and this beloved staple lasted 2 more years (the last one presented by Peter and Craig jointly, tersely telling the fans they weren't going to sack Lowe, so fuck off and Merry Christmas) before they sacked the tradition off last year.
Meanwhile Craig made more empty, almost identical Statements in September 2022, May 2023 and May 2024.
But since Craig issued his bollocking to the Time for Action fans for daring to tell people what was discussed at the meeting, there have been no further Club Statements at all.
To go down from the prem and then straight into league 1, is totally bad management from top to bottom,Yes, because going from non league to the premier league in 10 years is the epitome of being poorly ran.

Honestly, I couldn’t care less. There’s no redemption for them at this point, happy to hear fuck all from them.Be careful what you wish for. We barely get any communication or engagement from the owners as it is - I’m sure they’d gladly do even less.
Ridsdale especially needs to stop talking to fans so much, it’s tinpot and embarrassing.

I agree completely. But what message does it send if they decide not to communicate at all?Communication is only meaningful if it outlines a plan or statement of intent that is carried out conscientiously.

Fair enough. It will be music to their ears as that’s exactly what they want.Honestly, I couldn’t care less. There’s no redemption for them at this point, happy to hear fuck all from them.

The same message that they’ve portrayed with their (lack of) actions in the last 5-10 years, that they don’t really give a shit. I don’t need to hear a load of pointless bluster to confirm that.I agree completely. But what message does it send if they decide not to communicate at all?

Please don't use the word pointless, it reminds me of our end of season form for the last couple of years. The same message that they’ve portrayed with their (lack of) actions in the last 5-10 years, that they don’t really give a shit. I don’t need to hear a load of pointless bluster to confirm that.

No, you’re probably right. The same message that they’ve portrayed with their (lack of) actions in the last 5-10 years, that they don’t really give a shit. I don’t need to hear a load of pointless bluster to confirm that.
