By the way - Nathan Ellington was one of Mo's trialists, was he not?

These would be the same contacts who brought the likes of Valencia and Henry to Wigan would it? And wasn't one of these contacts responsible for Ellington as well? Some people really need to get over their entirely without foundation hatred of Maurice. What has he done wrong apart from not being Derek Shaw?
 
We are trying very hard to bring players in on loan and permanently. We all know deals take time, and Brown hardly been here long. What can we do when the likes of Leicester say someone like Waghorn is available on loan, we make an offer, but then they say only when all their injuries are sorted. Do we go to another player, or hold out longer for our main target?

I am sure that is a far more accurate description of what is going on than Surf's negative take on the signings situation.
 
Norky we shouldn't have dropped ourselves in the proverbial. This entire French farce is of the club's own making. Triggered off by two clowns in particular Simpson and Irvine. Then along came Fergy to finish it off. Only desperate players will now join us.

Possibly with Brown we've got yet another who talks the talk but can't walk the walk.
