Agree Dirk. It does not make sense to blame Lindsay at all whilst simultaneously absolving Shaw of any blame.

I can understand blaming Hemmings for not backing Davies (although it is his money so he can spend it on what he likes), I can understand blaming Shaw for spending money too much on transfer fees (along with the too high wages) and Lindsay for undertaking his cost cutting in the wrong way but it seems that there are some who wish to focus on Lindsay and Hemmings whilst ignoring Shaw.

Well ill just stick to the truth and you just stick to clearing Derek fucking Shaw of all blame because that seems more importent to you , this club is in a fucking mess but the real truth is shaw hemmings irvine ferguson simpson maurice , there all to blame and not just your blinkerd version of events .

But theyre in charge now so what exactly is their strategy. Rely on the fans to blame the goalkeeper and manager for all our woes as we sink into admin and they feel no financial pain

Hemmings was a director in the 80s when we had to apply for re-election to the league ,he didnt help us then, why should he help us now.

he fell out with Leeming at that time, did he ever really get over that?
 
I really don't know the ins and outs of who's to blame, but all i do know is, While Derek Shaw was running the club we were going along pretty successfully from a purely footballing point of view. Since Hemmings' took over we have disintegrated into a footballing disaster.

Lindsay comes across as a pompous pillock who's knowledge of PNE is based entirely on what he has read on Wikipedia. Hemmings' to all intents and purposes is completely annonymous. Anybody remember his last quote regarding PNE? No me neither.

The bottom line is quite simply, that as fans of Preston North End, we had far better times under the stewardship of Derek Shaw than we are having, or are likely to have under the current incumbants.

Hemming's must have approved it. If he didn't he is a bigger idiot than I'm currently beginning to believe. I'd quite like to hear Mr Hemmings actually speak. He says less than Abramavich, and certainly spends a lot less.
 
Why didnt he invest in the club when we were on the brink of the big time ? Davies / Moyes era 2 play off finals? if we had purchased 2 players???? well you know the rest is history.
So why is he investing now ?? it isnt for love I assure you
he is a twunt simple as, got us on the cheap and will sell to make a big profit


I am worried about the future of the club I love

If not speak, then at least a statement from the owner.

The fans may not own a stake in the club any longer, but it is still a business with paying customers and it's foolish to alienate them.

Shaw, Irvine, Ferguson and Simpson are not there any more and dont have anything to do with the club.

Hemmings and Maurice are running the club NOW.

As they are the ones who have taken on the responsibility, and in doing so turned the club into a steep nosedive, they are currently responsible.

However we hear nothing from our owner, and just bullshit from Maurice.

Unfortunately you and many others who set your stall out previously, have now found yourself backed up against the wall and unable speak objectively about the true CURRENT situation.

We are on possibly the worst run in the clubs history, and how do we try and get out of it? We sign a series of rejects and has beens.

Hit the nail on the head there clart.

Hemmings has been involved at the top level for years now, approving numerous transfers.

He's had full control for over year.

The result is there for all to see.

Because Cauncey, this is how I see it.

Mr Hemmings (TH) now owns the football club, and the football ground, and all it's assets. He was owed £14m before the "investment" (of less than £1m) to buy the club outright. I think the only external body who own anything at PNE now are FOPNE who own the club offices? (need back-up on that).

TH will invest next to fuck all to the football side of the company over the 12 months he'll be in charge of it. The football team will be relegated, asset stripped and then sold on. This means Mr Hemmings will acquire various funds, and make a bit of money back. Wages will then be minimal in League One and operating costs cut significently. with the football side of the company breaking even, this putting it "in the window" to be sold.

In my opinion, TH will keep hold of the stadium because the NHS will be paying for the operating costs for the next dozen years, at a ridiculous rental rate. After that, he'll either increase the rent or get new tenants for the IP stand and probably also add something to the museum site too.

When Billymac questioned Mr Lindsay about this at the forum, he was shot to pieces. I said at the time it was a PR stunt and a cover-up for the fans benefit, and it's looking like it sadly might be the case. We've been absolutely mugged by good old Magic and his pal.

This football club is dying, it's absolutely heartbreaking but there is fuck all me, you, or any of us on here can do about it. Such a bloody shame
