When people like Steve Ayres have pointed out that these three aren't in the captaincy discussion, you also have to question why the best goalkeeper in the league isn't considered either....

Crikey, can you imagine that weight of added responsibility on a man currently conceding an average of two goals per game and who already can't make a decision to come off his line or not?

Hopefully the game will get called off and GA will have a bit more time to get something out of this sorry squad, maybe get some back from injury as well.
 
If Lindsay has managed to train today I think he’ll play just going off what GA said in his press conference

This is why we have needed a director of football in place. Hemmings and Penrose will turn around and say they aren’t football people so leave the decisions upto the manager to build a squad. The other football person is Ridsdale who runs it like it is the 1990’s and seems to blame everyone but himself for things.
 
We are already goosed in Midfield without headless chicken Thomson getting suspended.

Posts makes sense in the middle but wonder if a fully fit Gibson would also be an option - he can play a bit.
