Team v Brum
Assuming no Clarke, Kenny, Wiley or McCann but a return for Gibson I'd go 4-3-3
Iversen (but wouldn't be too upset if Nicholls played)
Offiah - Storey - Gibson - Vuk
Leroy - Devine - Thompson
Mills - Erabi - Lang
I think GA will go 5-3-2

I’m a bit worried we’ll get pasted tonight if Mills/Kenny are still out.
I would like to see Moran brought in. I’d bench Erabi and play Lang up top with Devine Moran and probably Burgzorg in a 4-2-3-1 and really try and press higher up the pitch.
That said I can’t see GA changing much from Saturday.

Won't miss him if not, can do without him when we are busy. Terrible signingHopefully Mills, Gibson & Lang are fit but who knows.
I’m struggling where to start with the team but if we go with a back 5 against their 4231 I think we’ll get overrun and battered.

Alexander has already said he’s not changing the system so anyone suggesting a back 4 is wasting their time

I sort of agree with him though.Alexander has already said he’s not changing the system so anyone suggesting a back 4 is wasting their time
He’s saying that we need to get an identity and stick to a system.
Even with Hecky’s back 5 he was constantly changing, tweaking and generally fucking about.
The players at times looked like they had no idea what they were meant to be doing.
Alexander has been brought in so the formation wouldn't change, therefore nothing will change I'm afraid. Same set up, same shit, same as.

So do I. The players will effectively have had one day of prep for this game. Suddenly switching to a back 4 that hasnt been worked on will be even more disastrous than its already going to beI sort of agree with him though.

@Bobbage Drink!Shay Reid scored a cracking goal in Friday's Premier league cup game, surely deserving of a call up to the matchday squad bench , it's not as if any of the other forwards are pulling up daisies and the lad clearly knows where the goal is.

@Bobbage Drink!
My only surprise is we haven't yet seen people bemoaning us letting Filipe go!
He's growing up fast btw...
