Storey in for Gibson. Need to manage his minutes and I’d rather Storeys physicality against Agyemang

Be tempted by Small at RWB as I don’t rate Callum Elder and they’ll sit deep and be difficult to break down, but I don’t think the manager is interested
 
Earlier in the season I was adamant Small needed to be on the left (QPR away). Having seen a few of his last performances, particularly tonight, I'm not entirely convinced he's cut out for that LWB role.
That said, I thought he massively struggled tonight especially attacking wise. Just couldn't get a decent cross in, easily outmuscled and couldn't beat his man.

I've not seen enough of him on the right so would give other people's opinions the benefit of the doubt and see how he does there (giving Pol a 'rest').

Whiteman straight back in as I thought the midfield went to shit tonight and McCann was all over the place.

I think Jamal Lewis is so far ahead of Thierry Small at left wing back that we might not be seeing Thierry unless we play 4 at the back. Pol has been great but Potts looks like he’s getting back to his best so I wouldn’t be surprised if he starts against a big physical Derby team. We’ll surely revert to Offiah, Storey and Hughes at the back as we gradually increase Gibson’s playing time. Devine and Whiteman to return alongside McCann. Up front is the quandary, Osmajic, Smith or Jebbison to partner Dobbin. None of them did themselves any favours on Friday night.

I was just reading on the EFL news website that Derby are interested in signing Szmodics from Ipswich…..

Apparently he is on £25K a week at Ipswich so it’s no good to us but apparently Birmingham are also interested…
