Thankyou Simon Whaley!!

Thankyou Simon Whaley!!

I do agree though he went quiet in the 2nd half but no fucker gave him the ball

The easy answer to that is make yourself available in good position to allow
some fucker to give him the ball😕 he didn't for the best part of the second half, some of his defensive team play was better than he's shown lately but his attacking contribution was minimal in the second 45 minutes.

I know it was your first full game for a while due to Irvines insane selection policy but you were great pal. You played your part in creating the first match i have trully enjoyed for some time. The Ipswich team were stretched at times with you attacking on one wing and Wallace on the other and it was great to watch. Even the most moronic Sedgwick bummer can't defend him now.

Well done pal,

glad to see you back!!

Funniest post ever, whaley's performance was as shit as his hair doooo.

He was shite in the main Thor, as well you know.

We need to bring someone in to cover this position in the run-in, none of Whaley, Sedgwick and Nicholson are good enough.

Might be a prick, but did as much as Wallace yesterday.

Great pass to win the penalty and we should have scored from one of his crosses. His tracking back and man-marking was as good as anyone's too. He deserves to start the next game IMO; Nicholson is awful on the right and weak in the middle for away games alongside McKenna. This unfortunately means Chaplow will get another start.

I'd still take Croft though.

I thought that aswell. How did Jones play at Southampton? I only saw the highlights and he backed off Saganowski for about 20 yards and practically gifted them a goal. I'm not slating the lad because he is one of our consistently best performers, just interested to know.

Jones has been below par the last few matches. 1st half at Souhampton he didn't have much to do defensively. S'oton came down their right more using the space left open by Wallace. 2nd half Sedgwick was moved to the left probably to counter this.

The Diet Coke version of Mr T's legendary crop chop.

and "the jibba jabba stops here - pity the fool"

Put a sock in it Thor - he wasn't any better than Sedgewick - your Whaley love-in is sickening.

He was barely OK for 10 minutes, then went missing for the next hour.

Interestingly, that rather sums up his career too, flashes followed by dark patches of uncertain duration.

He's not the solution, he's essentially the problem.😎

ok fella so he didnt intercept and break down the ipswich attacks, he didnt put a ball in for elliot to win a penalty , must of been someone else, i must of watched the wrong game.

I do agree though he went quiet in the 2nd half but no fucker gave him the ball

I thought he did ok, but agree with this point, had we not had been hoofing the ball upfront as much as we did and used both the flanks he may well have had a better game!! Thought he was good in the 1st half.

Its what he does or does not do when he has not got the ball that really is a big problem.

I Thought so at the time and watching the championship this morning confirmed it he was with Civelli when the move broke down and let Civelli drift away from him suddenly realised and went on a mad dash to catch him but was too late and the ball was in our net.

Forgot he was playing in the second half when he did his usual vanishing act.

Not good enough and never will be.

He probably has the next couple of games to save his carear at Deepdale if Al picks him again.

Show a little sensitivity please. It wasn't a haircut, it was the style left by the brain surgeon after the operation. A double sideways lobotomy always requires extensive access either side of the cranium.

BTW - peach of a first time pass from Mr T through to Elliot for the move that lead to the pen.

He had a fairly decent first half to be honest, put a few crosses in but didn't do anything that Chris Sedgwick couldn't do.

Second half he was invisible. It was only when him and Ross Wallace swapped wings on about 70mins that I realised he was still in the pitch.

Thor is basically a one subject pony. He has displayed in many posts that he knows about as much as the tramp when it comes to the current North End team and he will go on proving this when he talks about nothing more than Whaley/Sedgwick.

You really do talk some crap don't you goat boy. I know more about PNE than you.

Read and learn from your superior.

He had a good game although his crosses could have been better, he also needs to get more bottle as he skipped a few 50/50's.

Not bad for a first start in a while mind....

He only looked like he played well because we are used to seeing utter shite from the lad. Personally i do not think he played badly, but neither very well.

In the People he scored a 6, in the Sunday Mirror he scored a 6. So two neutral observers thought he was just okay and I agree. It was a lot better then some of the garbage I have seen him produce in the past, but we need a lot more from him still.
