If that happens, and he is sent back (they will get a good look at him in training-that's the intention), I will hold my hand up and say that you were probably right all along. If Moyes does sign him, will you admit you were wrong? After all, you and your mate always scoffed at and ridiculed suggestions that he'd ever be signed by a Premier League club.

When he's playing regularly for a prem side then you have a case. Not sat on his arse week in week out watching the game. I predict that Lonergan will never be a regular premiership player, if a prem player at all. Moyes will have plenty of time to see the useless cunt in action and I really doubt there'll be a permanant deal come the end of the season.

We'll see........I will say the same as I did to the dog chaser, if that is the case, I will hold my hand up. If he does sign, however, will you admit you were wrong?

Is Arestidou a championship standard keeper??

Obviously not but he's a cheap back up in case we need him. This is how I think Moyes will view Lonergan. If he is signed by Everton I doubt he will get anywhere near the first team barring injuries or meaningless cup games but if he does become a regular then I'll hold my hand up and say I was wrong. You'll be waiting a long time though Fibber.😉
 
This will be a good deal. It gives Lonergan some competition and a bit of a kick start hopefully at Everton. Also gets us a fresh young goalie in between the sticks, maybe now our defence will sort themselves out.

agree totally, the whole back 4 has been replaced at some point or another. Worth a try! Will at least freshen things up. At what do we now have to lose? Whoever came up with this idea needs a big pat on the back for thinking out of the box.
 
Oh dear, the story seems to be changing doesn't it?

I thought it was too good to be true, but I've got to be happy that we've got a decent keeper in.

It would seem Phil Brown has him sussed, hardly surprising with the shocking performances he's witnessed.
