One year ago today I lost my hero. Time does heal and only happy memories exist.
It does. Gradually, the happy memories overpower the grief.
It’s ten years since I lost my dad and I still think of him every day. He might not be physically here any more, but he is as present as ever when I think about him and it makes me laugh or smile.
What I found strange was I didn’t dream about him for years, but he pops up regularly these days to say hello.

Bloody hell I remember you starting this thread and it doesn't seem like 5 minutes ago.
Not only is time a great healer but it really does fly!

My dad Roland Frederick Bamber has passed away this evening and joined that very special band of people.

Royal Engineer and proud of it.
Northender home and away for years till illness and renewed his season ticket this year in the hope of attending 1 game. Alas he didnt see a game this year...
The Townend Row 16 seat 24 wont be the same.

The seat is now my Mrs's so no longer empty👍Sorry pal...its truly awful going on a match after a bereavement and seeing the empty seat. Try to think of the many good times you had. Thinking of you. 👍❤️
