The Gentry The Gentry gains another Star.

It's a difficult time for you all, but it was great you all got a few months longer together than 1st expected. Roland Senior was a true gentleman and a pleasure to have known. True Northenders like him never die, they just move up to a seat with a better view. A good life, well lived and truly loved and respected by his family and all who knew him. This difficult time will pass and eventually give way to wonderful memories. Take care mate and sincere condolences to you and all the family. Jon. RIP.

Not just a member of the gentry but one of life's genuine heroes.

You're going to miss him so much.

Every best wish to you, your family and all his friends at this difficult time.

God rest, sir.

My dad Roland Frederick Bamber has passed away this evening and joined that very special band of people.
Born in PRI 14.3.1938 and brought up in Astley st (now Noor st) Deepdale a Proud Prestonian.
Royal Engineer and proud of it.
Northender home and away for years till illness and renewed his season ticket this year in the hope of attending 1 game. Alas he didnt see a game this year...
The Townend Row 16 seat 24 wont be the same.

RIP Dad x

so sorry for your loss Gerona, sleep easy Roland and have a cuppa with Janet x

Condolences to you and all your family Roland.

I hope he liked Sweet Caroline because if he and Janet did arrive at those pearly gates together you can be sure he'll be having to sing along.

RIP Roland Snr 🎩

Sorry for your loss Gerona , your dad sounds like a wonderful man , he will be talking and chatting to the gentry , up with my Dad true North Enders , thoughts with you and the family at this time

Sincere condolences. I know how you feel. My dad with whom I saw my first PNE march in 1963 passed from this life in 2007 and when I go to watch the team which I do when they are down here in London it is in part as a way of keeping his memory alive. You will do the same.

Sorry for your loss Roland.

Knowing you personally, your father, without knowing or having met him, has done a tremendous job forging you into the person you are.

God Bless and R.I.P. x

Sincere condolences Gerona to you and the whole family, I know exactly what you are going through, I lost my father (another north end fan through and through) in 2019. My thoughts are with you all…
