normally when i say things that i dont want to happen, the things that i do want to happen come true.

For example

"Phil Brown will not be leaving deepdale until the end of the season"

as you rightly pointed out, then mysteriously, this didn't come true and my wish ( secretely ) was for phil brown to be sacked which came true.... shazzam.

My cousins wife's niece was sat next to a bloke on the P5 to Larches t'other day, who said that he'd spoken to a geezer that knew some bloke that was going out with the sister of another bird who used to work part-time in the PNE shop.....And this bird said that most of the staff there thought Billy ( Tw#tface ) feckin Davies was a knobjockeying w#nker for walking out on the club the last time he was here and no one wanted the fecker back!!

phil brown will not get sacked. he is on good relations with hemmings and risdale and have only just organised and planned the future. Brown has a reputable background and is a well liked man. Although personally i do think he should be potted, the funds are not there for phil brown to be sacked. hemmings is injecting £750,000 a month already as it is, never mind pay offs to brown and horton. The budget won't allow us to pot another manager at this current moment. I think however, that he is one deluded man and we wouldn't have to worry about our players getting sniffed around if we were higher up in the league. This again, the attraction of our better players to other clubs is only coming about because of phil browns position he has put us in......

Probably the same one who let it out yesterday morning that Brown was going to be sacked, apparently before Brown himself and certainly the players knew.

As for Davies, I find it hard to believe that so many people have seemingly forgotten the total disrespect the man showed towards the club and more importantly, the fans in the way he left. He had obviously plotted with his henchmen for some time and left us completely in the lurch on the eve of a new season. He may have felt that Derek Shaw treated him badly but there was no excuse for what he did. If he did come back, I would expect, at the very least, an apology for the way he handled things. In the absence of that, I wouldn't welcome his return.
 
Look back 12 months and we had the same sort of shit threads. I very much doubt the players have any idea yet who the next manager will be. The board will wait a few days to see who applies before deciding on their final short list.

Davies could well be on that list already, along with others no doubt.

Yes The Big E- thats why i got excited for first time about Davies. No idea if true but i believe him alot more than most on here
 
I'd guess the staff and players are as much in the dark as us about the next manager and probably read the rumour on here.

The bit about him turning the job down rings true sadly though.
 
It has started again, just like it does every time we need a new manager/chairman or around the transfer window.

All the ITK'ers who have been conspicious by their absence, all of a sudden are competing with each other for the most interesting fairytale.

At the moment this one has my vote, until of course someone elses dog sees our new manager at the Tickled Trout.

I'm not finding fault with your posts, I enjoy reading the ITK posts. I just wondered as to whether your source hinted as to why the interview process has gone beyond Billy or Dave Jones and on to Kevin Blackwell?
 
only one way to find out if Billy D is interested in the Job, keep an eye out on TV or at the game this weekend to see if he or any of his Henchmen are in the crowd. That will be pritty much a good indication. I can't see PNE having started the Interviews yet after Saturday we got a 9 day gap till the next game, they not going to want to miss out on someone by rushing. I think we'll be waiting till Wednesday/Thursday before the new man is named.
 
For what its worth and probably little I was sat in my car on the club car park at noon and two very expensive Jaguars pulled up - two well suited and booted guys went into the club accompanied by who I assume were their secretaries or administrators or something - didn't recognise them etc.
