Anyone else a bit concerned he's just quietly gone back to being a sub?

Not started any of the last three despite scoring against QPR and Cardiff and a sublime assist against Leeds in December.

What he did was stupid and he served his time but I think most were expecting him to get a good run of starts after serving his ban. Since he returned it's been 11 games and he's started just four of them so I don't think PH is too keen.

Could understand it more if Riis had two years to run on his deal but as it stands he's leaving in five months if not sooner so I'd rather give more playing time to someone who's going to be here next season.

Unless PH wants to move both on to raise more funds for the summer window. We'll see how it plays out. I guess moving on Osmajic means a higher chance of getting Greenwood in full time.

I think Osmajic being moved on to help pay for this January window also has to be a possibility.

Maybe the biting incident didn't go down well with our famously squeamish hierarchy, putting him on the "to be removed ASAP" list?

I too was a huge fan of Riis. Now I can't stand watching him. Does my fucking head in.

He isn't the same player.

He's turned into a poacher and not much else. The explosive, raw talent he was when he came is a thing of the past, sadly. I'd sell him for a couple of million tomorrow if someone was daft enough to pay it and it pains me to say that.

It didn't help at all. I just think it's a risk moving him on with Riis probably also moving on aswell. Keane will still be around but this overall form this season dosen't fill you with huge confidence he can hit 10-15 next season.

Bit uneasy regenerating upfront when that will need decent funds when there's still so much work to do with the backline so I'd rather spend six months rebuilding that properly and then this time next year you look seriously upfront at the options.

Osmajic has to be starting for us.

Said to my Dad today, I only played footy to a decent amateur standard but if you played the ball up to me I'd definitely control it before giving it away. Riis and Keane are horrific, they have absolutely no basic abilities in control technique. Nearly 100 percent of the time today they gave it away today by not even being able to do the basics of forward play.

Keane's goal was one of the least deserved I've ever seen.

Or that he is no better nor worse than his other team members In fact probably worse

I mean he has done stuff recently. Leeds was always going to be a backs to the wall effort and little service for the lone CF. You couldn't have asked for a better pass than what he produced for Potts.

Nice finish at Cardiff to seal the one away win so far and also scored at QPR so this is stuff to build on.

Unless PH actually knows Riis has verbally agreed a new deal I'm not sure starting him regularly is that wise a choice currently.

Interesting what different fans see. Keane’s strength is taking the ball in and protecting it - I thought he was very good in the first half yesterday and all our good play went through him (Hecky alluded to the same in his post match interview).

Riis and Osmajic have very similar attributes - want to play on the last shoulder and use their pace and finishing ability. We don’t give either much of this service and they are both poor at linking play etc

This is how I saw it from Keane too. Absolutely should've done better with his first chance, but I thought his all round play was decent. Signs of getting back to last seasons performances. But seems a lot of others disagree.

But if we lost them we would replace. Possibly with better
To he honest, with our budget range I think the only strikers we could sign who are any better would be loanees. I actually think Osmajic is being a little underrated by our fanbase. He's scoring at the same rate as the league's top scorer and should be given more game time to prove what he's capable of. He's not been given more than 3 starts in a row yet this season

Neither Riis nor Osmajic drag the defenders away from Greenwood for that strike early doors, his movement yesterday was excellent.

Admittedly he hasn’t been great this season and should have buried one of his two first half chances yesterday but Keane’s footballing intelligence and touch is streets ahead of any other striker we have.
