You`ve been on the forum long enough to know that we tolerate away fans, but expect certain levels of conduct...for instance, an off topic post on a match thread is unacceptable. I personally have tended, I think, to be more tolerant of quality away posters than others...and although I can`t recollect what your last infringements were for, I do remember they certainly were not worth defending and you seemed to go though a spell of pushing it.
I thought if you report a post all the mods discuss it? Didn't realise you had to actually pm every mod.
As I already mentioned it wasn't for me...I do think that some of the mods like the fact they have some control...but then you get that in all walks of life.
Anyway made my point, and you're right I will think more before I post anything on here and just for the record the other thread I wanted deleting was because it was so upsetting but obviously that doesn't bother some mods either.
The way to go apparently is to be aggressive, abusive or extremely sarcastic whoa betide anyone who gets upset because they haven't got a leg to stand on. We're not all keyboard warriers.

Reporting a post does let all the Mods discuss the problem, which we did, but you did say....

If you want something to be discussed by all the mods then use the report post button instead of PMing an individual. That way, we are all informed.

I was very concious you had made a error of judgement...and gave you a cop-out...which you took. I think I was being kind.
Calling me a control freak is out of order.
Something worth mentioning here is that..after looking at your report...it doesn`t really show your depth of feeling re deletion...and if you didn`t like the decision....you could have let us known, we would actually have listened.
The mods were working for you..at your request. They put time into helping you sort out your problem. Yes, it didn`t work out right, but your criticism on here is over the top.

I'm pretty sure you knew what I meant, sorry if you need everything spelling out...I'll try to make it more clear next time, eitherway, the mods chose not to delete the thread after being kindly requested to do so.
At least, now it's out in the open, we all know that threads will only be deleted if there is something which obviously upsets a mod is in it. Whether the content of the thread upset any of them or not, it upset one poster on here and that was enough for me to warrant it being deleted and so asked for it to be so as to not cause anymore offence. I obviously feel very differently and think differently than what the mods do.
What upsets one poster on here may not upset the next...this is where the mods have to try and get it right and not always go for the one who can shout and swear the most or who actually complains the most. You'll know from being a mod that I never complain or moan about anything even though some of the language on here is awful at times. It takes a lot for me to actually either pm or report a post but I now know that even when you do, nothing really gets done about it.
That's exactly what I did Ronald....?? I did report the post by using the report post button...obviously it didn't work in this instance and therein I rest my case.
No point in going on about it now because it just proves to me that the mods 1, don't discuss when they say they do and 2, gang up if they don't like what is being said against them.
Carry on defending yourselves. I didn't care, personally, whether the thread was deleted or not Bardas...I could carry on talking about the chap until the cows came home...but for others I wouldn't. It's called consideration for others.

I personally don't find it a difficult subject Bardass...have come across so many situations over the years involving this sort of stuff that I find it easy to talk about now. Some people, however, don't and it is for that reason I asked for the thread to be deleted and for no other...not a cop out whatsoever.
My criticism is well and truly justified as I did everything I was meant to by pressing the report post button. Got no comeback so had to add a post to the thread, still got no comeback. What do you expect me to do when there is a thread on about the mods...just forget about it, normally I would, but why should I? You, as in collective, not you personally, deserve as much criticism as any posters on here. You're not actually Gods you know.
It's very rare I am ever disappointed in how this forum is run but there are odd occasions and this is one of them. Sorry if you think it's over the top...but I don't.
Do you really think I've got time to keep discussing it...I thought the report button was enough...and I can't discuss anything if nobody gets back to me...a bit hard discussing something with just oneself.

First off, I'm not a mind reader, you did say you'd 'messaged the mods privately' which is a very strange way of saying you'd reported the thread, I think from now on I'll have to try and find alternate meanings in all your posts. Obviously if I get it wrong you'll call me a control freak so I'll apologize in advance.
Second, well I'll pass on the second because you may get upset (which seems to be the norm) at anything I put, but I will say that your right you don't report much.
