First world problems hey, but yeah, the thread titles are staying in bold when the thread has been read to completion.

Thanks for listening!

Actually, they now seem to be working, but the group categories are still bold when all the threads in them are fully read.

No issue for me, is anyone else having the same problem?

As a start I would suggest the deleting cookies etc route.

It’s not something I’ve ever noticed before so it might always have worked this way.

I read this thread and pressed the back button on the browser (safari). This thread was still highlighted in bold. However, press refresh and it’s grayed out.

Spot on.

If you press back it will take you to a cahced version from the previous time you viewed that page.

It will not automatically refresh.

Thanks, but I never press the back button.

It's weird, if I went in 'PNE Discussions' for example, then the threads I'd fully read would be greyed out, which is great, but since Monday, if I went in 'Preston North End Forums' then all sub-forums are in bold, even if every thread has been fully read. Same with the 'Welcome' page.

If you click on an unread thread is it taking you to the first post you haven’t read ?

Can you try hitting the “Mark all threads as read” button at some point and see if that changes anything or at least amends all the threads to not be bold the we know the cookie is working?

1 - Yeah, it's all working as normal

2 - just done it on the 'Everything Else' forum - there were unread posts/threads in the Entertainment and Techonology sub-forums before I clicked it, but still all sub-forums showing in bold. If I click into the sub-forum drop-down from the Welcome page then it shows ones that have been read and ones that haven't.

Same for me on iPad. Tried resetting and deleting things, but no difference. Only started doing it this week.
Edit. Only does it on home page and sub forum page. The individual threads on the sub forum page do grey out after reading.
