Hi there , coventry fan in peace, just wondering how many tickets you've been allocated and how many you have sold so far?

it's going to be a good game i reckon, good luck for tomorrow 🙂

Apparently we have been allocated 3000 and its pay on turnstile, I think we'll bring a 1000.

ok sounds good, we reckon there could be as many as 15,000 there, with it being on sky and pay on the gate the numbers might drop as people might not decide to come last minute and watch it on tv

there's many pubs yes and i'm sure they will accept away fans, there's the cherry tree on lythalls lane , R.O.A.B on foleshill road, for parking most pubs along foleshill road have parking priced at £3 and it's a 5-10 minute walk away from ricoh (theres more than 6 so you'll be fine).
You can also park in tesco which is opposite the ricoh which is free, only problem is the security guards don't really like fans parking in tesco car park unless you present a valid receipt of spending over £25 on match days, not to sure for midweek matches though, wouldn't risk it.

walked past the cherry tree pub last month when we played and it said strictly no away fans, even when got to the turnstile asked a steward where cash machine was and he said go in the casino but cover up your club colours if you wearing any, think they were making it out to be worse than it is but having said that an old chap i know says Cov used to be quite handy back in the day.

Ah right okay well if you are carrying cash or will be needing cash make sure you withdraw it before you the enter the ground as there isn't any machines inside the ground , the casino is open to anyone over 18 so i doubt there will be any trouble.

I think we'll take about 300.

It's on TV and the JPT is still a "Who gives a shit" competition for most, although that will probably change if we progress to the next round.

I won't be going because I can watch it at home instead of going to the most soulless ground in the country.

I think Millwall matched it on Saturday!

I think a thousand is rather optimistic for a JPT game, midweek, on TV, a long way from Preston. I'd be surprised if we get half that.

As for 15,000 Cov fans?? You know best. It sounds optimitic too, but I assume it's just a fiver to get in, so that could swing it.

Pros

It's a cup game, our speciality. It's not at home. Our manager is Westley, good in cups. We have a new striker.

Cons

We always disappoint on Sky. Our manager is Westley, the lunatic. We are fed up of the Ricoh arena.

The fiver is swinging at the moment and as we believe it is a big game as it's a chance to go to wembley for the first time in 26 years, were optimistic as we feel MR is the right man for the job and will be able to deliever the performances neede to get to wembley

you can always dream

Loosing Mcgoldrick! Is that a big set back for you?

Is there any news from the Coventry end Regarding Rumours about Robins going to Doncaster to become their new Manager?

You can get your money on SOD getting that job. he rejects Barnsley the minute Wolves take Saunders,he was at Deepdale last week(must of known the Wolves situation). Plus he was the reason(and their chairman) Donny made the CCC. They are sat at the top, makes sense for SOD to go there;-)

Donny have stated that the don't want to go down that road.
