the following players have to go:

hawley
mckenna
nicholson
sedgewick

then bring in that midfielder from ipswich

also a decent striker

Still the hate on Mckenna even though he has been working his arse off and playin good in most of the last few games, yet you want to keep Carter😱

How about your little time is up on this forum and we should get rid of you :gentry:

Hawley and Nicholson - yes. Sedgewick and McKenna - you must be mad!!!
What about Carter and Whaley!!! Especially Carter. And what has Mellor done to deserve to stay - compared to the effort and skills of Sedgewick and McKenna.
You must watch a different team than I do LOL

Great thread, so refreshing when someone brings something new to the forum & doesn't regurgitate old crap that has been talked about over & over & over & over again.

I take it by the above you've seen a lot of this midfield general from Macedonia, could you give me the low down on him as i haven't heard of the fucker.

Hawley - INDEED
Mckenna - CARTER FIRST, BUT WOULD BE USEFUL AS A RESERVE
Nicholson - MAYBE NEXT JAN IF STILL NO IMPROVEMENT
Sedgewick - NO

highly unlikely.

mckenna is the biggest waste of space in the squad and the wage pne pay for him would pay for a better player.

so end of story.

whaley actually puts in a good cross unlike sedge who tries to be ronaldo and go past players 5 times and then loses the ball.

at least carter tries to drive the team forward unlike mckenna and nicholson who are so backward and slow and also small who cant compete in the air.

actually i were at the game and wasnt impressed with the midfield - not for the first time as its non existant with sedge, nicholson and "golden boy mckenna"

soon as we added pace in the form of whaley, carter and mellor we improved and finished better.

at the end of the day i have my opinion and u hav urs so get of my back u moron

Obviously a student of the game

Well. Absolutely. I've seen "that midfielder from ipswich" play zero number of times and yet i've seen enough to convince me that he's a good 'un.

Also on my shopping list, i would like add

"that defender from Watford"
and
"that goalie-bloke from, um lets see, (randomly pointing at map)... Melton Mowbray"

With those 3 in the squad, promotion would be a shoe-in.

As I have said before, McKenna for me isn't perfect (no rose tinted glasses) but I would have him in my side week in, week out. We are much better side with him in it, believe me. Take every throwing, for example, you watch how many times he is the one who shows, feet and back - he is brave, always demands the ball even when playing poorly. I bumped into Graham Alexander the other week, was chatting to him - I asked him who he considered to be the best player at the club and he said McKenna no question, should have played in the Prem. I'm not saying I believe he could cut it in the Prem, but that is what Grezza said. For me he does slow the play down too much at times, which I know he is hammered for on here. That was something that was always said about Ray Wilkins though, for example, and he played for England

Nicholson is lightweight, granted, but he has undoubted quality -albeit he has been in poor form.

Sedgwick is a work horse, selected consistently under every manager, big pity he has no pace, but a good player to have in and around the team.

To suggest we ship these three out before Carter and Whaley, IMO, is moronic.

We should sign that other guy...his mate and what's his name.

Also some...what are they called...midfielders.

And get some new footballs as well. The other ones were too round.
