As you all know I take a shite load of medication, But I really struggling to take it atm. The Heat and Humidity down here is bonkers. I went to Tesco's at 6am when it opened and the store looked dead, until I got to the frozen section. People fight over ICE. I mean its a bag of Water when you get it home ffs. Anyway all I managed to get was a Box of Mint Chocolate Tesco cornettos. Water is literally just whats left in them bags. It's like Tesco wasn't expecting this. Argos Failed to deliver my Fans So had to get the last 2 they had of a decent size. Although not sure if the heat is coming from my Meter with me usings them. But as I started out, I can't take my meds because they making me sick in this heat. (Oyeah and the Councils Envirovent thing, Died, I mean it wasn't much anyway.

Having lost a Bird to last weeks heat, all the fans are around the Cages, With Tubes of Ice Bottled Water behind them. But yet its still 37 degree's in this hell. So apart from the Ice behind the fans, Everything turned off, Curtains Closed. Any other tips I could try.

Oyeah and walking out of Tesco's was like walking into an Oven at 6:25am. Roll on the Winter.

Wet a towel, freeze it then wear it as a cape like batman... feels good for about an hour... sounds like I'm taking the piss but I'm not...

Not a lover of fans, as they just blow the warm air at you faster 🤣🤣 Tried the iced water bottle behind, but it doesn’t actually make any notable difference.

An air con unit is the only real way of getting cooler, but they are not cheap and if not vented outside, won’t actually cool the room as it will just blow the hot air back inside.

There are also air coolers, which are much cheaper, and work by blowing water vapour through a filter into the room. These are supposed to cool you a little, however, I’ve never used one. Constant use could also give you condensation issues.

There’s no easy fix Im afraid.
Order a couple of gel freezable packs off Amazon to freeze and place on your body but in the meantime, try a bag of frozen peas on the back of your neck. Just keep re freezing them at night. DO NOT EAT them though once you’ve done with them.

Nope it dried before I got it on lol. We've hit 35. 4th day in a row we've hit 34. High chance I am getting arrested this evening as its expected to rain. And after this heat, there is only 1 thing you can do when it rains. (ok there are other things) I am going to sit naked in it. have a great Tuesday.
