1) Individual error by St Ledger for the first
2) Two complete and utter sitters missed at 1 nil down, score one or both of these and we might go on to win.
3) Loss of shape when Mcloughlin went off (probably affected the players too)
4) Barton was anonymous in central midfield.
5) Poor marking for the second
6) Individual error by Brown for the 3rd

The loss of shape isnt anyones fault as it was down to an unfortunate injury but it did affect us. Brown should have brought Barton off instead of Russel in my view but by then the horse had bolted. But if you combine individual defensive errors with an inability to hit a cows arse with a banjo around the oppositions goal then what can a manager do?

Like I said I dont think there was another option for the defense with the injury and by the time he brought Russel off it was game over. Bar running on the pitch and making simple defensive clearances and nodding headers in from six yards out the manager couldnt have done much about that today, in my view.

Can't argue with that, add that SSl was lucky on a few occasions and its sums up a crap day. I think there are more than Bad apples at play at PNE, the new lads giving it their all and the old ones didn't want to play.
