By all accounts, the fee we have offered is fine. It's how it's paid that is the issue. I'd expect us to go back with another offer. Club are being very quiet regarding actual names. Normally in the 24 hours before deal announced you get to hear the name.

It's numbers I'm worried about if anything and Grayson saying we need "3 or 4". IMO we need 6 or 7 plus the loanees.

I reckon we'll be fine numbers wise. Including Gally and Johnstone we have a squad at the moment of around 17/18. I think 5/6 will do us fine. I think they'll all be very good players as well.

No idea mate, not heard anything about a winger. I still think Reid may have something to offer next season.

I'd be extremely disappointed!

Billy Clarke is a good player off the back of a good season at Bradford, injuries were the only reason he dropped down to that level really but he seems ok now.

Ajose is still only 23 and despite being a bit of a journeyman, his goal scoring record isn't that bad, we could do with some more raw pace in the squad.

Not wow signings but I don't think they would be bad additions.

I've been distinctly unimpressed by Ajose when I've seen him, whereas Clarke does have some quality in his locker.

Neither would get the pulse racing though, let's face it.

Billy Clarke came on against us for the last ten minutes of the game when we beat Ipswich 3-2 after being 2 down at half time in 2006.

He looked a very dangerous little so and so.
