Don’t suppose our esteemed Fat Controller has deigned to explain what the hell is going on with the new turnstile scanners ?
Plumbed new depths of chaos today .
Queued up to turnstile only to be told they couldn’t read qr codes on phones so then had to queue again for a paper ticket then queue a third time to actually get in .
Well run club my arse . Just another example of how Ridsdale has run everything in a cheap and nasty way.
A well done to the people in the ticket office for working in ridiculous circumstances and to the fans for not venting their frustration at the staff .
And a big fuck off to Ridsdale for presiding over such crap service.

Third game this season there has been an issue with them, with zero comment from the club.

The club called these scanners ‘state-of-the-art’. Weren’t the ones last year perfectly fine?

The things need you to scan and then push the turnstile almost immediately otherwise they lock you out. Not a thought for those who need slightly longer to process their next step.

I had to queue to get a paper ticket today after it didn't work with my season ticket. It took 20 minutes and we got rained on. How is that customer service? Not even an apology. Nothing. And my ten-year-old was soaked and freezing. Im close to having enough of this.

Luckily i always take my card as a backup in case my phone didnt work, some people infront of me in the queue were having a go at the staff on the turnstiles, its not their fault they werent working, felt sorry for those working today with the way some people were treating them

Our scanners were fine in the Finney, although we did get there a bit late today so perhaps they'd been sorted by then.

why not just put the man back in the turnstile and accept cards or cash - it will save on staff- there is a steward for every turnstile that could sit inside rather than stand outside, letting people pay on walk up then tehre would be no need for staff at t 2 heticket outlets and chances are more last minute walk ons as its less hassle.

EDIT: When I say man in the turnstile, I mean man/woman, / transexual / transvestite, etc etc before anyone takes offence.
