Voldemort Wins

Voldemort Wins

The only way i see to improve Englands Quality is to get them playing for pride instead of money and make it 2 foreign players on the pitch at most at any given time , that would force all clubs with aspirations of premier league or trophy's to work harder on there youth squads . In this country we pay stupid amounts of cash in wages , cap the salaries to no more than 25k . We've created generation after generation now of over paid prima donnas who couldn't give a shit .
I've asked this question so many times regarding this idea that foreigners are suffocating English talent, so here we go again.

If English taken is being suffocated b foreign imports, why don't other countries poach our starved talent pike we do theirs?

My thoughts for what there worth are , clubs in this country go for the quick fix thus instead of our youngsters blooming only a handfull with real potential make it so foriegn clubs see little point in unfinished articles .

Wonder why not of our top players are playing for Barca, Real, Inter or Milan et al thesedays?

Makes me wonder.

When our England players are playing for their clubs surrounded by world class players they can get away with it more!!

Answer the question Jaymo

Yes/No?

As for the current crop being the "golden generation?" No matey they were over hyped, over paid and became prima donnas. Under the new regime all th at baggage goes out the window. They are primarily working class boys, of low intelligence with a gift that has to be harnessed and unleashed (read Ernie Hannigan's story about how he used to love attacking full backs at PNE only to be told by Cantwell at Coventry not to go past the full back but just cross the ball and therein has been our problem). They are not international film stars and they should be made to understand a few home truths. That self satisfied smirk that they develop at 24/25 needs wiping off their faces as they are made to understand how truly lucky they are not to be stacking the shelves in Tesco's.

Meanwhile our young players aren't poached from abroad because they are rarely given a chance in the first team at the highest level.

We revolutionise our appraoch. We ditch everyone over 25 apart from Gerrard. We go with the young guns and we stick with them. Same applies to PNE with McLaughlin, Miller, Barton, Mayor and Proctor. It's time to try something different after half a lifetime of failure in both set ups.

.

Who is there to bring in asks the hopeless pbc ? Hart, Richards,Gosling, Gibbs, Johnson, Walcott (who should never have been sent back), Huddlestone, Young, Carroll, Rodwell straight off the top of my head without even thinking about it! And while I'm at it if Mayor starts to really turn it on then you can throw him into the equation as well/QUOTE]

Of these Hart, Richards, Walcott, Huddleston, and Carroll will all be 25 or over by the next world cup. So they are ineligble under your rules of no-one aged 25. Two will reach 25 next season.

So again please clarify, do you axe all these players after the qualifying stages and bring in younger players, just for the finals.

Also you failed to answer the question posted earlier by myself. When Gerrard, Lampard, Cole, Terry, Ferdinand, Rooney etc were picked at 21/22 who were the players you would have picked in their place. I am looking for 30/31 year old Englishman who were better than the above mentioned eight years ago and who are better at his present moment. I accept they no longer fit your criteria but am interested to know who they are.

Had you been in charge of any of the countries who the following players represent, am I am correct in assuming you would have not picked these players as they do not fit in the under 25 category
Messi, Kaka, Alonso, Schweinsteiger, Ronaldo, Robben, Villa, Alves, Lucio, Julio Cesar, Iniesta, Xavi, Tevez, Mascherano, need I go on.

Or are you going to say as you did earlier in this thread, "but thats different they are good enough".

I think you should retire gracefully from this thread having once more made a complete arse of yourself.

Whilst we do need to blood some youngsters, your ridiclous throw everyone in at 21 and axe them the day they turn 25 is as stubborn and senseless as the current England managers rigid 4-4-2.

Messi's 23. Schweinsteiger is 25. Ronaldo is 25.

Apologies, Messi is available for selection, but the other two don't fit the criteria. Never the less I think you get my pointand there are dozens of other world class players who fail to fit the selection process.

Gerrards the worst, most overrated of the lot.

and perhaps you could tell us how many first team games Fabregas and Macheda had had before we poached them from spain and italy.

fuck me, you are a idiot.

Jaymo I've suspected it but now I know for sure you are a complete imbecile.

I do not argue if a player is young he must be chosen. I argue that the RIGHT youngsters must be chosen e.g. at Preston McLaughlin, Miller, Mayor and Proctor will make it. Hart and Dougan won't.

As for the England players being over 25 come the next WC ? Great, by then they will have gelled together because the RIGHT group, as in those of superior technical ability, will have been the chosen one's right from the word go. Too many of what was laughingnly called the "golden generation" didn't have the right technical ability. They were frauds and have seen to it that the last 2 world cups were written off.

Meanwhile Jaymo I reiterate:

Germany (average age 24) 4 England (average age 60 containing the "Golden Generation") 1. You remain in a state of denial but don't worry too much because as in all things PNE you and many others will come to realise, somewhat late in the day (about 2 years after I told you), that good old Voldemort was right after all.

Cioa numpty.

pbc for someone who purports to being in the know you are incredibly not in the know. Read the serious press today and you will see, especially in The Telegraph, that the clamour for axing the "golden generation" is gaining momentum. The argument is being advanced for the young bloods to be given their chance with the emphasis being on to simply "play football" as the beautiful game. The talk is of winning the next World Cup not the European Championships.

Your collective predisposition is that of a dinosaur.

You will just have to accept it chaps in that Voldemort once again has been proven right in relation to England and PNE while you lot have been hopelessly wrong.

The average age of last season's Chelsea squad is 40! They are now a spent force and Abramovic knows it. They can go no further and therein is the key problem. Most of the current German team will be around for 8 years. Most of the England team were finished 3 years ago and still we persevered with them. Why ? Because of blind faith. Brazil will also have cleared out most of the current team by the next World Cup. Why ? Because they know they will be past it.[/QUOTE]

So make your prediction for where Chelsea will finish next season? surely not even top 4 if they wil lbe that past it. 😱

Yet seemingly the one player you seem tothink should survive the cull is the one player who lost the ball once every three times he received it during the world cup.

You need sectioning.

Jaymo, off with you. You've been soundly trounced or tell us all do you want Irvine back so he can tell all our youth team "You are a million miles away from the first team" and "I will only buy EXPERIENCED championship players." This is the type of nonsense you supported.

even gordon brown had gone by tuesday. this is wednesday and you are still here Voldemort. you lost in the late 1960s when you moved to london.
