wallace off
Wallace gets on my tits as he's a cocky little gobshite.
But
He's our best player by an absolute mile, great assist record, scores some great and important goals and under Irvine was the only person in our team who could make stuff happen. Him and Treacy down the wings is something i'm looking forward to seeing.
We should do everything we can to keep him and especially not sell him to one of our main rivals.

Was told something late last night...wallace wasn't mentioned nor did i ask about him...but we have 1 player coming in on trial (Brandy) and we are trying to sign 3 others (Morgan, a striker from Huddersfield [no idea who) and a v v special player who will leave you thinking "Wallace who?" if Wallace does leave and this player joins). No idea if loan or fulltime either.
Lets just say that the last player was knocked out of the WC at the last 16 stage. He plays for a NW Prem club and those who know my post history will know which player excites me the most.
Please note that my source of info said we are TRYING TO SIGN, not that we WILL SIGN.
He did tell me in April about "13 out" and "Butt to sign" so he does have some recent form.
No PMs as i'll be in bed all day as im on nights.
Softy Top will work it out, ask him. 😀

I can't be bothered looking through someone's post history and he's not the most exciting player ever but could he be referring to Vladimir Weiss?

Huddersfield striker will be Lee Novak or, possibly, Jordan Rhodes (although his father won't put in a good word for us!).

Must be teams with more clout than us that will try to nab him first surely? Anyway, if it happens then so be it. I wont get my hopes up though.🙄

I'm actually wondering whether Ferguson wants to play with wingers. Let's face it, watching this World Cup hammers home the point that flank players are a thing of the past - attacking full backs and holding midfielders are where it's at.
In this respect, Wallace is very one-dimensional indeed. He's an out-and-out winger and nothing else. At least the likes of Parry and Treacy are more adaptable and could do a job in the centre.

4-2-3-1 then?
Seems like the way forward for most teams these days. Except England that is.

I tend to agree. We got torn apart using 442 last season. We looked frail and wide open against teams with pace.

Possible part-ex for Trottman?

And over run in midfield on far too many occasions: QPR, Watford, Peterborough, Reading, WBA - just picking the most memorable from the away games i saw.
It was astonishing to see Irvine fail to respond in or between games Vs QPR and Watford where each has exta men in midfield who rapidly switched defence/attack leaving us stifled going forward and over-run when then had the ball. And i didn't see much to suggest DF had solved the problem

Nicky Butt sitting in there with James, Coutts, Treacy, Parry or Mayor doing the running round him should plug the gap.....

If he can easily be worked out, why so cryptical?? Just say his name.

Haha, was reading through this and got to the bottom 😱
But yeah, if Wallace goes and we get Weiss, bye bye Ross.
Who Vladimir Weiss???
Is he an obtainable player?
Loan Deal?
