From what I’ve read on this thread I’m now just wondering when we will get the open letter from Peter Craig saying that Lowe isn’t going anywhere and we should get behind him as things aren’t as bad as they seem?

Think they will let the dust settle first and make another signing for the golf team first.

By the way Jack I have missed the last few games. I have been ill in hospital suffering from pneumonia. (Nasty). To prove my allegiance to my club even the illness I had has North End connotations. (see spelling)

We might all argue and disagree on here but I'm 100% certain that we all have each others backs in times of adversity.

Sure CH et al can put the feelers out ala Moyes and West Ham and have someone ready to go in July.

I can’t see why FFP counts in sacking him. It would just mean we can’t appoint anyone else til July. However Craig could easily employ a prospective manager himself, to advise him, and then appoint him as manager in July?

Exactly. You can tell him now that his contract will be terminated on 1 July and then his compensation falls into next year’s FFP.
The current FFP problem is possibly because they can’t afford a new manager’s salary until July.

He can't be removed until July due to FFP... apparently Craig has had enough. Fingers crossed 🤞 Not sure what kind of money he will be on and how much of next season's transfer budget will be spent on paying the 12 month contract off? £750k????

If this is true then you wouldn’t expect Ryan Lowe to be jetting off to the continent to scout potential signings as he said was the plan?

He can tell any potential new employers all about his foreign targets, with a bit of luck.

That's a good point...not sure if that's a bit of bravado or just reflective of the fact that currently and until told otherwise he's the manager and that's his job???

I suspect we would just give him his 12 month notice and carry on paying him as normal along with the new manager
