The players do not have any mentality, nous or organisation about them whatsoever. I can’t be the only one wondering when we’ll ever win a game again? We threw the lead away today because the players don’t have the mentality to see games through. They don’t believe they can win games and see out leads. I can’t see that changing anytime soon even under a new manager. Who would want this job?

Yep. Absolute certainty even at this stage. A new manager isn’t fixing the fundamental issues

Can’t fix the fitness levels without a full preseason. Can’t fix the playstyle because we only have the players for one formation. Can’t fix the mentality issues because they’ve been cemented by 7 years of mediocrity

We lack quality at the back and up front, we can't control a game in midfield (even against 10 men) and the players are absolutely pathetic at all times

I previously thought a new manager could give us a boost, I now think it doesn't matter - we are down and deservedly so

Yep tend to agree. I don't really see three poorer teams at this level currently.

Burnley will surely improve. Derby had a poor start to the season last year but then had a really good run in the winter. Then you're looking at the promoted teams, Blackburn and Pompey.

This season is really reminding me of 10/11. Squad that has declined year on year and today was a bit like Burnley away early that season, infact probably worse given QPR played vast majority of it with 10 men.

This squad will do well to win ten games over the season and that won't keep you up so it's not looking good. The next one in must be backed properly in January. Can't just be cheap loans from other championship teams reserve teams.

Perhaps if our managers didn't fully retreat when we find ourselves in front, things wouldn't be so hectic at the back. That was the most cowardly 45 minutes I've seen in some time.
Who do you think that stems from? Because it’s not like the coaching staff go mental on the touchline trying to fix it. Every manager since Covid has coached the players to be totally passive when leading a game

Do you bedwetters have to get a new mattress every time you swamp your pit or are rubber sheets a thing? Its only September and changes are on the way.
Bottom of the league and blown a 2 goal lead against a 10 man QPR team.
Bedwetting is fully justified.

These players are absolute charlatans.

One man responsible for bringing them in has been removed from his position, the other one is still sat cushty though.

Riddler out

Not saying he was the answer and I don't know exactly what happened with the Alan Browne situation but we are missing someone like him to organise things.

A few reasonable transfers in, but generally very underwhelming.

No leaders in the team and clearly unfit.
100% agree this . Thompson doesn’t have the presence on the pitch to control the team when pressure steps up
