What's happening to the club?
No passion from the players, owners and the supporters. The fans ( bar a few) have had the life sucked out of them.
The atmosphere once again today, dreadful, not a murmur from anyone regarding the man running the shit show.
It is really becoming difficult to get excited about anything Preston North End.

I said to the person next to me today, that there seems to be a geral feeling of apathy from everyone invilved at the club, we need a big reset, whether that is relegation and a confidence boosting promotion push or a change in ownership, something has to happen. Mid table in the championship year after year with no hope of going up hardly inspires anyone

The club is stagnant the football is terrible there’s a lack of ambition and the owners are happy to facilitate it. The once lively town end is a shadow of it’s former self there is no buzz at all around the ground on match day something needs to change

Long standing fans (even loyalists) that I know are losing interest....it really is such a crying shame to see fans like this of a proud old football club that runs through generations of families, breaks my heart......thank you Hemmings/Ridsdale shit show! 🤬

Apathy is worse than anger.

It has dripped down from the ownership downwards.

All the fans groups wrote to the owners 2 years ago with our concerns.

These got rebuffed.

They don't think anyone else could do a better a job.

It's bloody depressing.

It would be interesting to know the actual bums on seats number for home supporters today.
Weather obviously not great but I reckon more may have sacked it for other reasons.

When the ownership is doing the bare minimum to keep this club competitive at championship level it has a drip drip effect down to the playing staff. If they aren't motivated to go the extra mile season in season out to get the club into the top six why should the players as it's a very comfortable existence for many of them who are borderline championship players in the first place.

Become?

We have been for 15+ years pretty much aside from two League 1 season

The Grayson era at least was getting out of league one with a decent young team who were developing in the championship season in season out. That continued for two years under AN before the big plateau.

Average age of the squad in those times was probably around 25, now it's close to 30 which is not a good look at all and will take several transfer windows to fix if the ownership actually want to do it.

I always said at the time completely chucking the Arsenal game was a mistake and it does seem to have burst the initial momentum from the first six weeks of PH tenure.

Thought that when Greenwood scored. Celebration so muted and underwhelming for such a decent goal.

Then again maybe it was the weather.
Give me football in the rain and under floodlights anytime.....always more goals and thrills.....bar us! ....players are just reflecting the overall picture but it's no excuse.....if they can't be arsed on a good wage then why should the fans be and I think after decades of suffering they have every right to be.....fuck off Ridsdale but let's not forget the owners who are.....and let's have this right...the blind faith lo...they are only looking after there own interests and using PNEFC for there own ends.....Ingol shambles tells you that but the list is endless..... Hemmings my arse!

Don't disagree, but with regards to the once 'lively' Town end, half the Demograph are as old as most of us on the Finney!!!!
In amongst it there's probably a greater impression than the actuality.
From where we sit the Town End has not been as 'noisy' as they like to think they are, for a long time - in part because of the first sentence.
Many who sat/stood behind the goal in there youth still do, 40 & 50 years later but you don't chant and sing the same when older.
BTW its an observation not a criticism. The main thing is that as fans we still go on, its up to the Team to create the atmosphere and then by and large whatever age we all respond.
Only the young not yet weary chant come what may!!
