"Shrinking ship". 😀
Ok, ok... Where shall I start...
Well those bottom three clubs, especially Norwich and Southampton, have been bordering relegation for a couple of seasons anyway....
Southampton and Norwich have been narrowly avoiding relegation for years...
I for one personally think Norwich has a decent board... The moneys there etc... But the footballs not.. ...
Norwich's board gives money and appoints when necessary... It just didn't work out, because it's been a shrinking ship for years...
I praise Hemmings's dosh, the manager, and the players themselves... That is all..
Great performance today though, big night ahead!
And you think all this would have happened without Derek? 😕
Don't let fact get in the way of your 'opinion' bennett. Which is it, Norwich and Southampton have been bordering relegation for a) a couple of seasons, or b) have been bordering relegation for years? - I'll tell you shall I?
04/05 season they were relegated from the Prem
05/06 season Norwich finished in 9th place in the Championship with 62 pts whilst Southampton finished in 12th spot with 56 points - hardly bordering relegation is it!
06/07 season Norwich finished in 16th spot with 57 points and Southampton were in the play-offs in 6th spot with 75 points - again hardly bordering relegation
07/08 season Norwich finished in 17th spot with 55 points (only 2 places and 1 point below us) whilst Southampton were just hovering above a relegation place in 20 spot with 54 points.
Given the above a wouldn't say, as you do, that both Norwich & Southampton have been bordering relegation for either 'years' or 'a couple of seasons'.
What do you base your belief on? It certainly isn't based on fact, I infact believe you just plucked this view point out of the air because there a loads of Norwich fans who go on week in, week out who disagree with you. If you do not believe me you can read their views on their board and money being made available to the manager here:

I for one think DS does deserve credit for guiding us frugaly to where we are now. TH also deserves some credit for lending the money to the club to bring in players like Wallace and The Beast. AI and his backroom staff also deserve some credit for getting us in to the play-offs. the players deserve credit for not giving in and wearing the shirt with pride these past four games and having a 'never surrender' attitude and may it continue. Bryan Gray also deserves the credit for laying the foundation upon which the above have been able to build. The fans also deserve a lot of credit for continuing to support and folllow the lads even when we have been very poor e.g. v Blackpool.
Here's to the next 3 games and may we all keep the faith.
UP THE MIGHTY WHITES
I think it's happened in spite of Derek!
Quite.
According to you we've finished 6th in spite of a useless chairman, a clueless manager and a woeful goalkeeper. Who says miracles don't exist? 🙄
+1..........It has been nothing short of a miracle.
+1..........
There you go! Youve seen at least some of the light lol😉I've been praying to Allah since just before Kickoff Doncaster. I think it helped.
hard work and talent. nothing miraculous about it.
what about the five year plan?the biggest factor.
Cardiff totally fucking up has been the biggest factor.

That 6-0 is possibly the single most important result in PNEs entire history.
That 6-0 is possibly the single most important result in PNEs entire history.
If we do manage to pull this off then that one result, ok maybe in the past 50 years or so, will be the most important without any doubt.single most important result this season? Definately! Possibly even in recent seasons.
But in our entire history? really?
You arent a sky sports commentator are you Raefil?
Not only shattering Cardiff, but giving us momentum.
I still didn't give us a cat in hells chance though even after that result. I never for a minute believed we could do it. Only after the Brum result and Ipswich winning 3-0 at Cardiff did I give us a glimmer of hope.
The Brum result for me though was the most crucial.
