I hope Unsworth and Alexander get the job, they are already a part of the fabric of our club, they genuinely care about our long term success and they will do whatever they can to make us successful. They will have no hidden agenda, and as we saw tonight they can unite all the players and get them playing. Making Coutts captain was a masterstroke - he was fantastic and lead by example.

Even if Unsworth and Alexander are not appointed, I think we are lucky to have them at our club. They conducted themselves tonight with dignity and humility throughout, their enthusiasm is infectious and they put some pride back into a jaded Preston North End team. They need to be a part of any future plans, but I do believe they deserve a chance to make the job their own.

It's gazza for me. I like the cut of his jib but as we have seen in the past that is not all that is required.

Time will tell but if we remain unbeaten into the transfer window they will be worth a trial to summer.

If they are then I would like PR to support them in January by retaining the players they want to keep and allowing them a bit of freedom in the loan market. I expect cash to remain tight and cannot see a transfer budget for anything other than any freebies whose deals are up in the summer.

I don't have hero worship of a player down as part of the criteria for being a manager, so I'm still praying we get Davies.

They had 3 days to get ready for this game 1 day was match day so thats 2 days to prapare, so to go there and get anything is a great result as for the performance we won ugly its as simple as that the team gave 110% all game.
