We English are at our very best when we have our backs to the wall. It doesn't get any lower than this. I've been arguing for a decade that PNE could achieve the Promised Land on a limited budget BUT we would need a manager with savvy. Clearly Blackpool got one such manager. Not only that they got a superb communicator in the process. A manager who talks from the heart and wins the respect of the fans. Compare him with Irvine's inane mumblings from earlier in the season. They were light years apart.

PNE now need to come out with some fighting talk and they need to do it fcking quick! At the same time they can take immediate action by slashing season ticket prices in an attempt to fill Deepdale.

I would say that given £3 million for new players Fergy could pull off the miracle we all crave. The fact is however the whole club needs re-organising from top to bottom. We need a new killer attitude of "We will do it." It's time to appoint David Taylor or one of Hemmings's sons. Failing that I'm more than capable of implementing the required changes myself.

Hahaha. He couldn't even win that many games and then slags off players to the media because they aint good enough and we can't sell them. Cheers Ferguson.

Fuck off BSK4ever. Clearly Ferguson isn't at fault for Blackpool's promotion or our recent fall. Unlike Irvine was. 🙄

the players were't good enough, and we can't seem to sell them. so we get a manager who tells the truth. the audacity.

Oh btw Voldemort great post and I agree that they should reduce ST prices. Its a joke when local teams have cheaper ST prices in the Prem. We cannot compete! Even the die hards are pissed off and certainly won't renew their ST's after this recent debacle. The prices should also stay constant and not change on June 1, or else we'll face an Avg of 8000 next season, whilst the Lashers get an Avg of around 16000.

We'll see how much better the players he replaces them are then?

Well we've already seen how good Coutts is, Matty James was good. I agree Williams and Ward were dodgy but he noticed that and didn't sign them. Irvine probably would of handed them 15k/pw contracts.

Until that last line I was sat here nodding in agreement at your every word. Now isnt the time for your egomania Voldemort, seriously.

The points you make are spot on. While I dont expect a reduction in my ST the plan to actually increase them again is pure folly.

Stalingrad sack the Board. Derek Shaw has pushed us to the edge and we have paid his company for his services. This is not VFM. He was never up to the job !

Ray Burns

Ps, This is not the time to call for you to get us out of this hole !

Ferguson's policy of buying young, hungry players clearly puts him in a different league to Irvine on the transfer front. Simpson bought St Ledger and unless I am doing someone a great disservice he didn't buy anyone else of real note.

A real statement of intent needs issuing this week outlining:

1. Derek Shaw's resignation. His position now is untenable after the comments about small attendances etc.

2. Debt. What is going on with this winding up order? Fans need to know.

3. Trevor Hemmings position at the club, what are his intentions and motivations for being here? He is a successful businessman, ploughing £500k a month into a failing business and something you appear to have very little or no interest in doesnt make sense.

4. Signings. Some inclination that signings are in the pipeline, money is available, would be nice.

We probably wont get it like but it would be nice. The club needs shaking up from top to bottom. People have got complacent in all areas of the club. It needs new, dynamic leadership.

I'd also like Surf to tell us that Blackpool's success isn't as good as ours because we have a nice ground.

they might have a problem fitting that 16000 in their stadium 😉

Surf won't be able to comment because he is currently on holiday with Neil "class defender" Collins" and Derek "can't do no wrong" Shaw.

Leadership comes from the top. Derick Shaw and the boards position is now untenable. Blackpool making it to premiership status makes the belief that with more prudent spending and leadership this can be achievable, However with this board of morons we appear to be spending above our weight. The board must resign without further ado. All the trust has been diminished by the fans of the incompetence by this board.

Exactly, the lack of funds excuse doesn't wash any longer and furthermore the club has shown itself to be completely incompetent in terms of communication and its day-to-day running on almost every level. That to me is the issue, not how many of our rivals have gained success; that just highlights the problems at Preston North End.

You don't see such an outpouring of dissatisfaction as we've seen recently for no reason; there's has to be some justification for it all but unfortunately Derek et al prefer to bury their heads in the sand and pray that it will go away again.

Well I'm afraid that this time it won't go away, issues are there to be addressed and the club is failing to do so.

The current silence is both deafening and completely unacceptable.

you where doing so well until your closing arguement, have you ever asked yourself why Peter Hemmings is not on the board? Dave doesn't want the job. And you couldnt organise a raffle.
