What was your 1st Away Ground and your last Newest Ground?

First was Turf Moor 1992

Latest is Hill Dickinson Stadium in 2025

Most recent new ground watching PNE would have been the new Wembley in 2015.

I don't attend as many away matches these days and the ones I do go to are just repeating grounds I've already visited.
 
Can't say for certain, even my 1st game. Think it was Chester 93/94 but know it was defo that season ages 6/7.

First away game was 95/96 but would need to see the fixture list to say which was the 1st. I think I did Mansfield, Doncaster and Wigan that season. Remember a Kilbane goal in a 1-0 win. Beat Mansfield 6-0 at home so expected a win away, ended up 0-0.

Last tick off was probably Luton last season, managed to tick off Luton and Oxford.

Bloody hell Alan. I think that’s a snap !

I was struggling to remember my first away game but I think I recall it’s that. I seem to remember the fans walking around the pitch and changing ends at half time.

Last new ground definitely kassam last December. Not sure why I missed the previous game there.

I've just looked it up, it was October 1974, and we lost 2-0, I remember it being 2-0 and a night match, I just was a year out!!
Bobby Charlton was playing for us.
 
I've not been many away games but they were all under Moyes before life got in the way of following North End.

First could have been Gay Meadow for a preseason friendly, only memorable for getting speeding ticket near Forton Services on way home.

Not pissed off per se about the ticket but an empty road for miles, at night so lights on, tucked into inside lane not bothering no-one, he didn't need to bother his arse but he did.

No ideas of last, sorry. Will say Hillsborough as there's not many to choose from and got terrible memory so can't remember the results either.

Some of the gaps between first and last in other fans grounds are quite impressive 😎

Can’t have been mine then. I doubt I’d have been taken on a night away game at that time. The bury game I’m thinking of was probably a year or 2 later.
 
1st away game. 1964. FA Cup Semifinal Villa Park

Last away game Tranmere Rovers 1977 ? When someone bricked the linesman after not giving an obvious off side that led to their winning goal.
Irony : I live in Tranmere now. Tasmania
