Where will the final nail be hammered into the brig bound coffin?

Where will the final nail be hammered into the brig bound coffin?

That final nail has been hammered in gradually by the likes of Derek, Maurice, Alan, Trevor and Darren. Trevor gave it the last 'hit' tonight.

I may be bloody negative and depressing at the moment, but I just can't see us pulling out of this ever deepening rut.

Were not a team anymore were just a bunch of players with few ideas , at this point now im just asking myself can we make an impact in division 1 and will TH back us next season as its falling on guild year .

No, is the answer to that question. Staying in League one will be just as difficult as trying to avoid going there in the first place. This time net season i expect us to be just above the drop zone in league one.

The coffin lid was sealed shut when we lost to Middlesboro at home.

Saturday 13th November for me when that clown Fergie should have been sacked on the friday after the defeat against Hull. But nope we waited and waited and waited and waited.....................

Bob will be ironing his best white jeans ready for the ocassion.

Ipswich away, relegation party.

Like we said on the way down, new grounds, real pies and 50p brews, what more could you want.

I would agree, but what do you mean by the above?

Great read chaps, brings a tear to the Japs eye.

For what its worth, I would say the final nail was against Palace over Christmas, which anyone with any brains would've had a lump sum of money on Palace at 6/5 to win. If you can't beat the teams around you, it speaks volumes amongst fans and players.

I would consider preparing for League 1 now, the sooner you prepare for the inevitable, the better. I wouldn't mind you being promoted straight back to the Championship once you are in League 1, as I do beleive the mighty may stay in the Premier League this season, but next season we may struggle and go back to the Championship. So THE you coming straight back up would mean THE derby can be played again.

Preston's bubble has burst. Beck and Moyes started it and it has been a great ride. Rest assured life goes on in the Third Division. it was a top laugh finishing 17th for five years, with one fantastic season flirting with the play offs run in 1988.
Watching North End in plastic stadiums has been the most soulless period of their history, albeit with success on the pitch. All seater stadia has ruined football atmosphere.
As fans of other similar clubs like Sheff Wed, Leeds, Sunderland and Man City found, its a good place to get back your love for football.
I'm looking forward to next season in League Division Three, or whatever "League One" they'll try to badge it as.

I reckon St Georges day at The New Den.

Prepare for a tough day.

Although results seemed to have gone our way tonight, it doesn't matter if we can't win.

We should walk to this game, in fancy dress. It's got to the point where I'm actually enjoying these defeats, and revelling in failure. There's no expectation - we're simply free. Bravo.

It'd make my year if 20 or so Preston fans walked round the streets of South Bermondsey in fancy dress.

I reckon you'd last about 46 seconds.
