Apparently he was one of the players who didn't go near the away section to applaud them today. An absolutely pathetic captain who for me should be stripped of it immediately.
Offers sum total of fuckall...also his mere presence nullifies thordarson. Who should be in that deep role...its a priority that this waste of space is shipped out this summer

Mads has done his hamstring.

Whiteman and most of the team barely crossed the half way line and buggered off.

Ched came right over and encouraged others to do so.

Milly tried to reason with some fans giving them stick and he got a positive response.

Gibson, Stefi, Theo Mawane and i thinkBrady where the only others who stayed to properly acknowledge and face up to the fans.

Whiteman was nowhere be bloody seen along with Hughes, Storey, Lindsay, Riis and co all had long gone.

I'd just add that Lindsay did stay for a while to be fair.
Without Ched getting involved (positively), I don't know how that would have ended, so fair play to him for reading the room and taking responsibility.
Brady should be captain for the last two games - he's another one who does actually show leadership.

Yep, credit to Ched and Brady, the rest looked like they were shitting themselves from a safe distance.
Ossy started to question the feeling of it all but was soon pacified by some of the following.
As for the rest , well when their heads touch the pillow tonight hope a few scenarios run through their conscience.

After the Leeds defeat.

Alan Browne after defeat away to QPR last season.

"Had there been something to play for, maybe we could have tried a bit harder for the 3 points and win".

Those were more or less the exact words, because I can't be bothered searching the archives, from our former Captain and to myself, it is a culture that is both both ingrained and seeping throughout the club.

How about playing and trying because (1) it's what you get paid to do (2) for the fans who will have spent probably around £100 minimum with travel, ticket costs, tube costs, etc.

Rotten and it stinks.

The whole club needs gutting from top to bottom.

We haven't got a chance as it stands when Captains, who the team looks up in terms of leadership, experience, attitude and setting the tone, have such negative heads down mindsets.

Always feel people have it completely flipped with Mads. Prevailing opinion seems to be that’s he’s got a lot of talent but bad work rate.

For me, he really isn’t that good but can’t fault the guys effort.

Suffers from DJ syndrome of having that languid style that cons people into thinking he’s lazy. I bet he’d be right up there for ground covered, as DJ was almost every year

His work rate cannot be faulted, he's everywhere, and busts a gut if he loses it. He's got ability, but it's hard to be effective when there's only ever one player making a run.

I'd like to see him play as a conventional centre mid alongside Thor or McCann, rather than a No. 10. Definitely needs to fuck off with the dissent and playing the victim shit though.

I feel that is the issue at PNE with our 10’s or creative players, we are expecting them to runaround chasing the ball as we lack numbers further up field negating the whole reason why you play them to get the ball to them high up the pitch numerous options in front to pay a pass. Not just Osmajic in front who currently seems to just miss control a touch, suspect mainly due to trying to hard due to a lack of ball and chances.

There just aren't enough runners in team in general, KKH and Thor want to get forward but their starting position is usually too deep. It's only ever Osmajic or Riis beyond Frokjaer or Greenwood, so it's either eye of the needle stuff, holding on to the ball for more support, or just playing it into the channel for the striker to chase.

Having two actual wingers would solve so many problems.
