If we are going to take a gamble on such players then there is one at Grimsby i.e. Danny North. He's come back from a major injury. He's only 22 and if he could recapture his form he just may become similar to David Nugent. With our limited resources it would be worth the gamble of swapping any of Henderson, Sedgwick, Hawley or Elliott for him.

You can't just start swapping players with other teams like bloody pokemon cards, For a start off grimsby won't be able to afford the wages of a championship player. Get a grip!
 
You're trying to tell me Sedgwick and Hawley are actually on higher wages than division 1 players. No wonder we are £10 million in debt !

I thought you knew everything about the finances of PNE - the wages of each and every player, transfer fees, signing on fees, agents fees and even the cost of toilet paper - are you now saying I am wrong in thinking this?🙄

I never mentioned wingbacks or cutting inside. Just midfielders who can defend. Shockingly enough a STAPLE of the modern game.

name one team at club or international level thats had any level of sustained success without a ball winner in midfield.

Should either sedgewick or Hawley move to grimsby im pretty sure they would be the highest payed players most likely by some margin. Not that there is any chance of this happening though. I think its back to the drawing board for you Voldemort.

What in believing you do know everything about transfer fees, wages etc? How many times have you told us we can buy such and such a player at some ridiculously low fee or get rid of a player who is on Championship wages to a lower league? I believed you so why ask the question oabout Hawley and Sedgwick unless of course you don't actually know these things?🙄

ps Glad to see you are now taking your footballing tactics, theories etc from Cloughies book rather than the Beano - should take you to a higher level of 'assisting' when speaking to Alan and Derek😛
