Anyone on their own for Xmas due to this crap virus, or for any other circumstances, feel free to chat here. I will try and Bob in and out as the day goes on. Anyone wanting to chat in private send me a private message and I will reply.

I'm on me todd, just cause all my family are back in the UK, my ex ended our relationship a couple of months ago after cheating on me first, and I've not really got any mates right where I am. All good though, been for a walk down by the beach this morning (grey and drizzly but still warm) and will probably do the same a couple more times today. Got enough food and booze to do me (you can't buy alcohol anywhere on xmas day) so that's cool too. No xmas decs, not watching or listening to anything xmas related, just keeping it as a kind of normal day. Just want to get this year out of the fucking way to be fair.

Did Christmas on my lonesome once. Had a whole duck with all the trimmings, including some first rate pickled red cabbage that I made the day before.

Watched American Psycho, American Beauty, Donnie Darko and Casablanca.

Drank four bottles of wine and woke up on the floor on Boxing Day in time for a quick shower and lunch with my mate and his family.

Those were the days!

Ha ha, sounds awesome! I ordered 3 x cases of wine from my favourite Hunter Valley winery (Tyrells) so have plenty of that to go through. Also got gin. Gonna head back out down the beach in the next hour.

Lived a couple of months in Sydney ( Redfern) and only Tuesday came across my photos for the first time in ages. Great place.
Am sure you will rebuild. Good luck Muzza
 
The years I dont have the little one on Christmas eve always feel a little empty. I'm off to pick her up shortly then off for Christmas lunch with my sister and hopefully a video chat with my dad.

Once that is done will be back here to open presents with the little one.

If anyone finds themselves struggling for whatever reason today my inbox is always open.

Merry Christmas to everyone. I said elsewhere that my thought this year is make the the most of what you’ve got and not to get too upset about what you haven’t got for whatever reason.

I hope everyone finds some happiness in whatever they’re doing. I’ve been to mass, which was very uplifting, and ready to tackle the vegetables before an afternoon in front of the tv with, presumably, monopoly. Best wished to all those who are il or have a loved one who’s ill, I pray you all get well soon.
