Actually youre not a mod because , a) Youre not a patron of the forum and (b youve never put your name forward for election. Both options are, of course, open to you.
 
i'm posting on here for the first time......Derek shaw has to go,that is not in any doubt,his position is now untenable,half the squad has to go....in my veiw they're just as bad as he is,our football club is being murdered......without being to controversial i have to admit i watched the lashes game on tv this afternoon...if the north end players had half as much pride,half as much energy and half as much hunger then we'd be where they are now....tme for a complete re-building if we have to start from scratch then so be it....time to put the proud back in proud preston,i WILL renew my seson ticket because i believe we can do it,lets get behind the club....UTW!!!!

I would have to agree. What really angers me is that a lot of those Blackpool players are not, I believe, better players than many of those we are desperate to get rid of. But what they do have is a real passion to succeed, a fantastic work ethic and commitment, and a confidence instilled by a manager who knows what he's doing at this level...all of the things in which we appear to be so sadly lacking.
 
Shaws position is untenable for two reasons:

1)The little club argument no longer holds water.
2)Like it or not as chairman he must accept some responsibility for PNEs financial state.

I still believe that Fergusons appointment was linked to point 2 and that as such it is about securing Hemmings investment. With this in mind the next question is why is why is Hemmings taking so long to pay the taxman? Its my belief that something is happening in the background, no not a multimillion pound investment, but Hemmings looking for a safe pair of hands to run the ship. Once these hands are found, its goodbye Mr Shaw, and the taxman gets his money.

Unfortunatly Im a Preston supporter and in 40 years Ive seen both Burnley and the scum promoted twice, both times at our expense (in one way or another).Today hurts like hell, but it wont stop me buying a season ticket next monday nor will it stop me travelling to Norwich next season.

Never felt as low as when the news came through to me at work today that the scum had won, felt sick. I'm now drinking myself into oblivion, hope they back Ferguson to the hilt and he takes us up.
 
Today I steered clear of the TV.

I went and bought some nursery furniture and a pram for my first baby that is due later this year. I heard the score and was thoroughly pissed off. I then went to the room where the nursery is taking shape and let out a big smile.

More to life than football.

Nobody has died.....yes it`s tough today to take it on the chin after 4 failed attempts ourselves. One season is the flicker of an eye in football though - we will be back.

The real issue is with the running of the club...takeover or not things have to change.

1000 times this. Its not the end of the world FFS, its annoying, very annoying, but its just football at the end of the day.

We need to consolidate now, and think seriously and plan what we are going to do to tackle our financial problems effectively and foster a positive mentality that can see attack this division properly.
 
Its seige mentallity time. scum are in the premiership, theres bugger all we can do about it, apart from ignore it. No congratulations, no bitterness, just ignore them and concentrate on PNE. Then hopefully something good can come out of this stinking pile of crap we find ourselves in.

I really cant see how he can stay, Surely pressure will be building? With all the shit that has gone on in the past couple of weeks surely he must stand down?

Lads being the operative word, because unless there is an alternative we are yet to learn about or other managers get severe sunstroke lose the plot and pay good money for overwight, lazy sicknotes we will probably paying to watch youth team football next season.
