wallace off

Looking at the pre season photos, looks like Wallace is wearing the number 11 shirt kindly given up by Darren Carter. Based on that I doubt DF is expecting RW to go anywhere as yet....

I'd rather Wallace stayed, but if he was to leave deepdale Ross isn't irreplaceable.

He accumulates far too many needless yellow cards for my likening. Usually around easter/christmas time. 🙄

No-one is irreplaceable but he'd still be bloody difficult to replace.

He does need to watch his mouth however.

Or even just wash his mouth out.

What Fergie should do is a spot £100 fine for each F word he hears that the Match
crowds could also hear.

You are obviously lacking knowledge in who Driver is and what position he plays. It was a perfectly sensible post by Edinburghwhite which did not warrant your failed attempt at sarcasm.

After having been turned down in their bid for Driver, Burnley are now looking at other wide players such as Wallace.

Woooo, look at you Mr Argumentative. Are you Mr Edinburghwhites bodyguard and lover?

We seem to have plenty of problems replacing our shit players, nevermind our good ones/one.

(query - can you replace something you haven't actually got rid of yet?)

I'm actually wondering whether Ferguson wants to play with wingers. Let's face it, watching this World Cup hammers home the point that flank players are a thing of the past - attacking full backs and holding midfielders are where it's at.

In this respect, Wallace is very one-dimensional indeed. He's an out-and-out winger and nothing else. At least the likes of Parry and Treacy are more adaptable and could do a job in the centre.

Looks like this might be the case if what I have just heard is true. It's disappointing news.

I was told on Monday that it is all down to the terms of the deal. Burnley want him but it is subject to terms being agreed with the player and a transfer fee with the club.

If we got £1m+ + add ons and the legend that is Alexander, i would do the deal.

If he decides to go and I hope not, just the cash will be fine and a bit more than a million. Alexander is a little bit past his best and sort of on his last legs now.
