Its doable but we need to start scoring and stop conceding and start winning very quickly. The sooner these players start playing together as a team the better.

Not going to win games when we cannot create anything. Strikers working of fcking nothing at the minute.

Brown has to realise that we have to go 4-4-2 now.

Lonergan
McLaughlin Cort SSL Jones
Hume Ashbee Barton/Nicholson Treacy
Clarke Johnson

Well I'm fucking depressed now. Well done to those who went tonight...roll on Saturday. If we go down then fair enough, wish we could just get on with it. Think these last few months are gonna go by really slowly

Our only saving grace is that the teams around us bar Palace have picked up nothing tonight. Bristol City is very much make or break.

We're in a really bad way. It's difficult to stay objective after another defeat but we're so unbalanced and unfit throughout the team. We have an abundance of crap central midfield players but not one single fit left-back. We have an abundance of crap strikers but no decent wingers. We only have one goalkeeper. And so we move to Bristol City on Saturday. For me, if we lose that too, we can forget the whole thing.

Pne tonight....
Manager any good ? / no we ain't got no billy davies just more crap crap management!
Players any good?...? No just the same old crap can't create, can't pass, can't shoot on target, can't deffend
chairman and board any good?/ no it doesn't look that way either!
Fans behind the team? No not anymore not until things begin to change!

I was apprehensive when I saw the formation. Top-loading strikers onto a slight midfield is invariably a recipe for disaster. Why on earth didn't we leave Clarke or Ellington on the bench and have Barton or Russell on to start with in addition to Ashbeen and Nicholson and Hume right upfront - he is our best striker after all? If we are going to play 3.5.2 then there might be a case for using Jones at the back and starting with Treacy on the left. But we need more than just two players across the middle - a trio of Coutts, Ashbee and Barton would have energy, presence and guile. Russell could then be substitue for any of them. My report from the game says that the team looked disjointed but that we perked up when Treacy and Mayor came on. McLaughlin, apparently, continues to impress. We are hanging on by our fingernails at the moment. We absolutely have to win on Saturday.

Out of the bottom 6 teams only Crystal Palace drew all the other 5 lost, we still have a chance.

I didn't want to accept it but I'm convinced we're down now. We have got out of the habit of winning matches. History will show that appointing Ferguson and sticking with him so long were the worst decisions made by North End in modern times
