Have you not got cars up there?

Well, yes...but given that the trains would have accounted for a sizeable contingent there will be fewer than could have been ordinarily expected. I imagine you lot would bring up many by train too. Keep and eye out for a yellow Maserati or a black Range Rover and do wave.

Merry Christmas

Lancashire Constabulary certainly will.

aye too true! unfortunately i dont drive so its impossible for me to travel to the game 🙁 unless there is a northender who fancies picking me up from north wales? 😛

Well, with your 13,800 sold so far and our 3,852 sold so far with tickets still available on the day and presumably some more of you deciding at the last minute to go along, I'd say in the region of 19-20,000 is a possibility.

And...you have to give us some credit for those numbers given the transport issues.

Should be a good atmosphere.

Merry Christmas and see you on Monday.

I really fail to understand this "Transport Issue" that you keep referring too.

There have never been trains on boxing day and this match has been planned for months so it is not like you have not been able to make alternative arrangements.

Coaches/Cars/Mini Buses and the like are common place even in Carlisle surely?

I recall us taking 5000 to Stoke on Boxing Day a while ago, and I don't remember anyone moaning about no trains that day.

Bringing nearly your full home attendance is a good effort, however stop pretending that had there been trains on there would be a extra 1000?

Merry Christmas to you, but I hope you have a bloody horrible boxing day 😉
