Where does this leave us for Gentry Day?

Where does this leave us for Gentry Day?

Gentry Day would look good on the United match and it coincides (almost to the day) with the Anniversary of the great mans death. What a tribute that would be for Sir Tom.

I think we should do something for the Utd game, but Gentry day needs to be an away game. Traditions need to stay intact!

I always felt remembering sir tom and the gentry day should be 2 seperate things. Whilst Sir tom was a genuine PNE supporter he was a lot more than that. He is a club legend, in fact his is "THE" club legend and should always be remembered seperately.

It would have been very fitting to have had the Gentry Day on 14th February to mark 12 months since Sir Tom's passing.

However a home game against Manchester United at a full packed Deepdale will be a very special way of marking it instead.

I'm sure the club will make special plans to mark this significant date.

We feel the importance of Gentry Day would be lost if it was "merged" in with such a massive game.

As is tradition Gentry Day will remain an away game later in the season. A fixture of which will be confirmed once we have the FA Cup game out of the way.

This is the correct decision imo

Who is the 'we' you refer to?

I take it 'they' haven't run this by you either.

Must be some sort of elite group of PNE illuminate.

It's not that mate, just wondering which people decide on behalf of ALL PNE fans when Gentru Day will be that's all.

Hopefully JK will give me an answer.

Bradford or Barnsley for me, especially if the latter involves a coach ride via Penistone!

MfK is a horrible HORRIBLE place and Colchester is miles away, will see a limited allocation and kicks-off at 10am on a Sunday morning.

Cheers mate.

Like I said, I was just wondering who and why they'd assumed the 'power' to decide when Gentry Day is, or in this case, isn't.

Why do you give a fuck, yor a Man Utd fan with nothing better to do than come on here and be a WUM, sort your life out you fucking loser.

Barnsley.

Bradford is shit hole, makes Barnsley look like St. Tropez. MK would be crap as its the franchise and Colchester will be as others have said an early kick off so that'd be crap as well.
