The latest episode of From the Finney Meets... is now available to stream.

Enjoy!

Top work as always mate.

Lonners was part of my all time favourite north end team so always good to hear stories from around that time.

I've just listened to the lonners pod @FTF and yeah really enjoyed listening to him. But the overwhelming feeling I've got is a bit of sadness and frustration tbh, at the opportunity we've missed. Most the players you've had on have spoke well about the Moyes brown Davies Irvine era, but that is where I feel we missed the chance, know that's obvious with two playoff finals and numerous times in the playoffs but what an opportunity missed.

Be good to hear from gregan.

Yeah, I feel the same in all honesty.

I'm working on getting John Thomas on a pod which @Staffordwhite will be co-hosting with me. JT was a bit before my time. Then I'm meeting John Welsh and Danny Pugh in the next couple of weeks and that will conclude season 1 of "From the Finney Meets...". I then need to start getting my ducks in a row for season 2 which I'll start in August and will just run the same as this with 1 episode a month for the length of the season providing I can get the guests.

If anyone has any contacts with any former players or has anyone you would like to hear from, feel free to let me know and I'll try and get something sorted.

In the meantime, enjoy episode #33 of the pod...

I've just listened to the Lonners episode, excellent stuff.

What was the music played at the end?

I think the last couple of episodes have had a band called "The Juice", couple of brothers from Preston I think they said in an earlier episode. Is on Spotify

Double post but we're recording the next episode of From the Finney Meets... with Jon Parkin tomorrow. If anyone has any questions or anything you would like to hear, feel free to pm or reply on here.

Episode #36 of the podcast is available to stream everywhere now. If you've never listened then now's probably as good a time as any to give us a go. This week's podcast sees us give our thoughts on the current situation and how we think things *could* pan out for the rest of the season.

We finish with a new feature from Jimmy, the "From the Finney 7 Question Quiz" that you can all play along with at home. Let us know your thoughts and how you got on with the quiz!

Evening good folks of PNE-Online. The latest episode of the From the Finney podcast is out now. This week was a last minute 'Meets' episode over Skype with former keeper, Thorsten Stuckmann. Give it a listen below, let us know if you enjoyed it or not. He speaks quite openly and frankly, even about that penalty against United and whether or not Wazza did actually apologise to him.

Hope you're all keeping well. Don't forget to stay at home, protect the NHS and save lives.

Hope you're all staying safe in lockdown and listening to the government's advice. If you want to pass a few hours, all 3 parts of our podcast with the beast himself, Jon Parkin, are available to stream on all platforms now.

Give it a listen, let us know what you think and if you could share it with your friends and family, that would be grand. Recorded with Phil Brown and Craig Brown earlier this week so they will be out in the next few weeks too. Gott a few more lined up as well.

Enjoy!

Episode #38 of the pod is out now and it's the second of our PNE 20 Question Quizcasts. Let us know how you get on and what you thought of the questions if you do play along. We also have a little natter about the state of football at the moment, finances and much more. Hope you're all keeping well!

Good work, I'm really appreciating these Podcasts at the moment and I'm currently working through Jon Parkin. I've yet to listen to the final part but what I have heard so far is good.

I don't know if it's because Parkin and Stuckman have been more recent players compared to Alexander and Lonergan's early career at PNE, but your interview style has improved over the last few Podcasts. Your memories of particular games or events is more clear and I think that helps with the interviews when you ask about these.

Keep up the good work.

Incidentally I don't want to take the spotlight off your excellent Podcast, but the official PNE Podcast has recently added a brilliant 2 Part interview with Grezza that is well worth a listen.

Thanks for the kind words. I don't know if you've heard ours but I would like to put forward our two-parter with Grezza for consumption.

Part 2 - http://bit.ly/FTFMeetsGrezzaPart2

I have to say though, kudos to the club. They've stepped up, to a man, in these uncertain times. Not just with the media content they're producing. Very proud at the moment.

I've listened to all the player interviews on your podcast, Grezza was fantastic. I was surprised he did not get along with Parkin at Fleetwood because both of them seem very affable. That said, it was purely for footballing reasons by the sounds if it.

I'll download the Phil Brown one this weekend and catch up on the morning commute next week.

I've listened to a few of these now and have thoroughly enjoyed them, mainly the interviews with ex players aswell as the one with Colin Murray,I listened to the Phil Brown one today and thought he came across really well,to be fair to him he did have some bad luck here losing 5 players on his first day,and then the following season losing 3 strikers to injury at the same time

Not the podcast but Phil Brown wrote a piece of content for the website. It's all about the pre-season up to Abroath with the marines. Have a read and enjoy.
