Has Snicky been banned? He was one of my favourite posters. Came across as very intelligent, and was polite to most on here , and was only aggressive to the people who do the same to others ( including himself). Though when he did, he did give it large.
Ive never reported anything in all my time here , but I can understand the issues raised by the owners of the forum / mods. Its their forum and if people don’t want to play by their rules they should simply piss off and form their own forum. I wouldn’t want to be deleting and moving posts up to midnight every night.
Id given up on the coronavirus thread. It was just a pit of negativity , hatred and doomongering with some quite ludicrous postings and graphs / stars designed to show our country in the worst possible light. A new subsection of the forum for the clique has its merits - we could call it the echo chamber - but even on the threads designed to avoid politics, they can’t resist popping in and having a little dig.

Ah but he couldn’t report Sepp for constantly smiling at him, and Sepp dealt with the problem himself without getting abusive back or constant reporting. It’s the way to go if you don’t want to leave the thread/forum in my view.

It took me 2 goes.
People asked me to stand. The 1st one, I came 2nd (behind Horse) but another contender moaned and bitched (they came 3rd) so I said, "Fine, you have it", couldn't be arsed with the hassle. They took it.
I have no problems with re-standing. If I lose, so what? My owns views don't change. It isn't the badge you seem to think it is.
And for your information, I work nights so by the time I arrive on here in the morning, the early to mid evening stuff is done although I usually attend to, when they occur, with the night time spammers that post all sorts of stuff around 2am when I should be sleeping on my break.
Anyway, if you don't like it here, then leave. All you ever do is piss and moan. It is boring, tedious and quite frankly, irrelevant.

This place works really well in the main unless you fall foul of lazy modding, mods who can't be arsed splitting threads or going for the instant delete, it's effective and simple and hardly ever results in threads getting "away".
Love the piss and moan stuff as there is probably not a bigger pisser and moaner when it comes to TH than yourself, oh and if you don't like TH why not stop coming to the games?

Billy, we delete a lot of stuff which obviously, you cannot see. Some of it has been downright offensive.
These "good decent posters" (your mates) left us no choice after months of playing Mr Nice Guy to them.
Multiple Warnings were given. They ignored them all. We acted. Stop crying. They'll be back in 4 weeks. Have you noticed how on that thread since the Bans that there has been no arguing, just good decent flowing conversation. Ask yourself why this is?

From the little I’ve seen the mods do a very good job in difficult circumstances. It can’t be easy managing a digital playground of unruly children who refuse to listen and heed multiple warnings. There will be those who do it deliberately to get at specific people but others are just really childish.
I thought you green jackets were meant to be fair and impartial, let me put some info/facts to you;
raef, Nobber and Snicky/MJB get banned on 9th May, a "new poster" Lakers registers on the same day spouting similar shite to the banned snicky and you and paddy are liking his posts, FFS wake up smell the coffee and do the job you so eagerly wanted to do.
You have banned people who have the balls to stand up for what they believe in while letting them be abused at the very same time, so banning them was YOUR choice, a piss poor one. I have no political accord with either raef or nobber but found their offering much more acceptable than snicky and the constant sniping of other Tory arseholes.
yet again rather than embracing something that might help to reduce trouble in here YOUR option is LEAVE, it's a pity you haven't got the balls to look at suggestions and discuss them further within the mod section, that would be the adult way not the "well just leave if you don't like it" way you suggest.
