Yup...turned out it was the infamous Voldemort!
Years later I was one of the Mods who finally voted to ban him permanently.

Also at that time I was, at one stage, the only mod who voted against a permanent ban for a certain poster called Nobber! 🤣

Later still, this forum seemed to have lost the interest of it`s owners, and JK, and ever present, battled on seemingly alone for a while.
Every credit to him. The forum is better than ever, and still ad-free.

Sigh...and we still haven`t made it to the Prem! 🙁

I also joined in 2004 and pretty much feel like Nobber it’s been a big part of my life and I like most people on it. I have got quite a few good friends from it too. I am grateful for the forum so thank you to all those people that make make it what it is.

I was going through some of the old site section threads, some user called Hans Asperges he sounded like a fun character! 😂
Or seeing users with 'banned' under their names, you know there was some fruity, juicy goings on there.
 
I've been posting since 2008.

This profile began as lilywhiter10 back in 2010, and during bsk4ever's ill feted spate on the forum Olly Dawes convinced me to change the username to stf4ever.

This forum has drastically improved over the years, but we have lost some characters along the way. We've experienced some wild issues, and posters as varied as Yoga and Voldemort. We've even had a convicted paedophile posting amongst us.

The way this place came together after the loss of controversial posters such as Shaky and Dirk, as well as the lovely Stu Bolton was wonderful and should always be remembered.

Bringing back the days of the charity football match would be greatly appreciated by those who were able to experience them the first time around. It would be brilliant to do something similar again.
 
Does anyone know what happened to Thor?

Was reflecting on stf4ever`s post re old characters,and realised I haven`t seen him about anywhere for years. I seem to remember some health issues...does anyone know if he`s OK?

Probably a professional photographer somewhere.
 
I originally joined in June 2004 and it has also been a ridiculously big part of my life. I actually remember registering, I was on a computer in my hotel lobby in Orlando when I did it, during one of the many rain breaks.
Met some great people, got to play for the Dog and Duck for a few years and have had many laughs. Also many fallings out, threats and disgusting accusations thrown at me, but I guess that’s part of the online world and I have broad shoulders.

It’s a great place even if too many people take it and themselves way too seriously.
